After a few hours, Arpita went to Imlie's room.
"Tumse ek baat pucche. Tumne Aru ko shaadi ke liye haa kyu kaha?" Arpita asked.
"Jab AKT ne kaha mujhe Aryan ko chhod ne k liye tab pata nahi kyu mujhe ajeeb sa darr laga. Shayad isliye ki wo mera akela dost hai iss shehr mein. Jab bhi mein koi problem mein thi usne aake hamesha madad ki hai, chahe mene madad maangi ho ya nahi. Shayad usse bhi nahi pata usne meri madad ki hai. Aur AKT aur Aryan dono ne mujhe propose kiya farak sirf ye tha Aryan ne meri marzi pucchi, ek baar nahi bohot baar jabki AKT ne sirf assume kiya mein haa kahungi aur mujhe kaha Aryan se door raho." She said.
"Shayad mujhe itna khayal rakhne wala, jisse meri marzi jaana important hai waisa kabhi koi nahi milega. Akkadbagge ko mat batana." She continued.
Arpita hugged Imlie, she understood her, how important a supportive life partner should be, like she had in Arvind. One can live without love but not without respect.
"Court marriage mat karo, hum chota sa function rakh lenge ya better dono karte hai. Jaana kab hai court." Arpita asked.
"We missed the appointment" Aryan said entering Imlie's room. He heard the last part of conversation about how his sister wanted to arrange a small wedding function.
"1 hafte baad ka date mila hai" he continued.
"Accha hai. Kal Imlie ka birthday celebrate karne ke baad wedding functions start karte hai. Mein maa ko bata ke aati hu, bohot kaam hai mujhe" Arpita said & went to inform Narmada.
"What's up" Aryan asked awkwardly.
Imlie started laughing, Aryan was behaving clueless like when rishtedaar comes to your house after many years and you're meeting them the first time.
AKT didn't get a chance to meet Imlie. He had go to Jaipur to finalise the house & other stuff. Malini was pleading him for forgiveness for tricking him into an affair while he was still married to Imlie.
With Anu & Malini in jail, Malini & Imlie's father finally returned back. Since both of their charges were murder & attempt to murder, their bail was rejected. And Court date was months away.
Aryan was in his room when he received Dev Chaturvedi's call. He received his call "Please take back the case against Mallu. She's Pregnant" He said.
"Mr. Chaturvedi, aap phir ek beti ke liye dusri ko ignore kar rahe hai" he said looking out of his room where Imlie & Arpita were laughing about something. Then Imlie started mimicking his walk & actions. This made Aryan smile.
"Imlie ke pass koi nahi tha ja aapki Malini ne usse kayi baar maarne ki koshish ki. Aap kaha the tab jab usse goli lagi aur wo coma mein thi, Mr. Chaturvedi. Ab aapki sirf ek hi beti hai. " he disconnected the call & was still looking at Imlie with her payal in his hands.
Mr. Chaturvedi felt ashamed. Once again, he had failed Imlie. If he had intervened, not let Anu influence Malini, she would not be in jail today.
He had went to Imlie's Flat when he learnt that she had sold it. He tried calling her but Imlie wasn't attending his calls so he had to call Aryan.
Meethi reached Delhi Bus station. Aryan had called her and asked her to pack her bag's. She agreed as she wanted to celebrate Imlie's birthday with her.
Aryan had went to receive Meethi from the bus station. And had hidden Meethi in Imlie's new flat. Meethi was overwhelmed seeing her daughter's flat. She slept that night peacefully at her home.
Next Morning, Aryan brought Meethi to Rathore Mansion. Before coming here, Aryan told Imlie's mother that they were getting married next week. Aryan was glad his sister had suggested about the wedding party. Had he gone with his original plan, he & Imlie would have to face many questions especially from their family.
Imlie was very happy to see her mother. She ran and hugged her. She started sobbing while Meethi was rubbing her back. With teary eyes, she looked at Aryan as if to show her gratitude. Aryan, Arpita, Meethi, Narmada celebrated her birthday with Meethi's handmade Pagdandia special ladoo that she had brought with her & cake that Arpita had ordered.
Imlie held Aryan's hand and stopped him. Never had anyone celebrated her birthday. In Pagdandia, Meethi would make her favourite ladoos, sing happy birthday & give her some money to buy her favourite things.
Imlie fed Aryan her favourite ladoo.
