Ok, so.
A couple months ago I was talking to my male friend (yes, gender is important to the story) and I asked him what his thoughts on feminism were.
He says something like, 'I don't think it's necessary any more because women and men are already equal and giving women any more right will just make them above men.'
When I tell you my eyes went WIDE! Whoooooh!
So I respond with something like, 'Uhmm. Yea-  uhhhmm hhh.'
And I think he then said 'that's just my opinion.'
Very lucky this was over text or I wouldn't have given it a second though before losing my crackers and giving him a piece of my mind.
So I just sorta sit there in silence, mouth opening and closing in horror (like it does when you're really stunned by something and you can't speak) and decide that if he said that that was his opinion (it was false fact), he isn't going to be able to hear the facts. The facts being that women are waaayyyy below mens rights and are NOT in any way, shape or form, treated anywhere near as equally as them. I could literally go on for HOURS about it!
Then, a couple of weeks later, we're in class and a group of people (including him) are talking about something and I hear him say he's going to use his male privilege to help himself with something.
And I was like, holdup a damn minute.
If you don't think that men and women are equal, but you know that male privilege is a thing, then what do you think?
He might know more about it now as in a few conversations I've talked about how extremely lucky he is that he gets some privileges. For example, he was quite surprised when I said that women do not walk alone at night because of the chance that we're great targets for rape and stuff.
I mean, even in the middle of the day when there are lots of people around I constantly check behind my back, to my left and right to make sure no one is following me.
But yea.
There's my little rant. :)

Hey guys, do any of y'all have any topics you want me to talk about. If you do, message me or comment at any time on the chapters. Thaaannkkkssss. :)
