So, when I was in kindergarten I was really close friends with this guy.
When we started school, we both went to different schools.
He was always in the back of my mind, but I did eventually sort of leave it behind.
I never really thought I'd see him again, but last year when I started middle school, we had heaps of people join our school and there was someone by his name. I don't really remember how it happened, but I'd thought 'oh, wouldn't it be cool if it was him' and asked my mum what his last name was. The last names matched.
I tried to get in contact with him through emails, but he didn't ever check them. I got his number but never got a response. I'm a bit socially awkward so I still haven't gone up to him to talk.
I really want to be able to tell him it's me and kind of catch up but I can't bring myself to do it.
Something that would be really cool is if I gave him a toy car he left at my house the last time we saw each other before we started school.
It's just, it's been nine years and it would be really cool but I just don't know if I can.
If anyone sees this please help me decide what to do.
