Foreword

Don't you hate it when you wake up in the middle of the night and you can't get back to sleep immediately? Happens to me all the time. Have you also heard the phrase, sleep is a free trial for death?

And do you know that there used to be five stages of sleep? And now it's only four: NREM stages 1 to 3 and REM sleep. But this was changed by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) in 2007. Moser D, Anderer P, Gruber G, et al. 2009. (I have my sources hahaha)

Anyway, I wanted to make this story as bizarre and confusing as the dreams I had. Although it's not the best, it's equally unique in terms of the values and plot of my stories. I'm also happy that I finished it and I got to be crazy with the turn of events.

Lastly, as an insomniac, I've researched all about how to sleep immediately and peacefully. What I've found out are the simplest things you can do. By praying or saying thank you before you sleep can make it better and longer. So I wrote Dry Dreams as a culmination of my hardships in sleeping, some unconventional solutions, my dreams, and most importantly, how I found myself to be grateful again.
