For someone who grew up in the city, a distant hubbub in the forest, an owl hooting, and the crickets chirping ubiquitously were almost alien sounds to Jill. But Nate's snore toppled it all so she felt assured. Laying awake inside her tent, she tried to see the stars through the roof of her tent and the trees above it. But to no avail, there are still clouds covering it. "Hey, Nate, remember that daughter of a counselor that's gone missing?"

Nate stirred awake, "Huh? What?"

"She looks like that doll."

"Dunno, don't remember," Nate groaned and returned to snoring.

"I think that bastard made her into a doll and not the other way around."

"Oh right, the doll!"

"Glad to have you back" Jill kidded, "You still on with the plan?"

"Yeah, sneak and check."

"And if we confirm it?"

"We go public."

Nate wore his glasses and slipped his feet in his shoes. Then, he pocketed a camping knife (for protection) and put on his jacket. "Don't worry, I'll be quick and stealthy." Jill was now outside her tent with her arms wrapped around herself. In their four years of working together of course she would worry about him but she only said, "Good luck."
