Y/n's pov

"Y/n, you wanna hear a bet that we have for you?" Natasha asked.

"Oooh... I love a good bet, hit me." I said leaning towards her.

"I bet you $100 that you won't ignore Bucky for a whole day when he comes back."

I smirked.

"$200 and I'll do it." I crossed my arms. (Gotta barter, hell yeah)

"No, $150."

"$175."

"Fine, $175 and you ignore Bucky for a whole day when he gets back."

I smirked excitedly, holding out my hand for a handshake.

"Awesome." I said when she shook it.

*Two days later*

I was sitting on the couch reading a book, when I heard the door open, seeing all the people coming back from a tiring mission.

I looked back at my book before Bucky's eyes landed on me.

He walked over to me and sat down "Hey doll, miss me?"

I didn't say anything back.

"Doll?" His arm wrapped around me, rubbing my waist.

I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"Doll? Is anything wrong?" He asked, pulling me towards him.

I acted so invested in my book.

"Doll?" He asked, kissing my head.

I cleared my throat, flipping the page.

Bucky sighed with confusion, wondering why I'm ignoring him.

"I know that you know I'm sitting here, why are you ignoring me, doll?"

"Hmm?" He asked, taking his hand and putting it up to my chin, and he tried making me look at him.

He looked at my book.

"What are you reading?"

I didn't answer.

I looked at Natasha for a second, and she was smiling.

"I'm going to take a shower, okay? I'll be back in 20 minutes."

He kissed my cheek and got up, going to the bathroom.

"I'm surprised, I didn't think you were going to do it." She said, standing up.
