I sat on my bed at night clenching onto his jacket, I felt his warm through it as if he was there hugging me. I didn't realize a tear had fallen till it hit my pants, I wiped it away standing up as I made the worse possible choice every. I was going to find Murphy, I needed to find him. I got up fast and grabbed my bag walking outside as I snuck to the pantry and threw some food in with a canteen full of water before I grabbed a gun running to the gate. the guard looked at me as I pointed my gun at him

Phoneix- open the gate, now. I won't hesitate to shoot you, open the gate.

he nodded starting to open the gate as I heard commotion behind me, i turned to see Clarke and them coming out from the station as I ran out of the gate. I was lucky one of those Grounders left their house right by the gate, so I quickly jumped on as Octavia came running out

Octavia- what are you doing?!

Phoneix- I'm sorry but I need to find Murphy, I can't go another day not knowing if he is okay or not. I don't mean any harm, but I need to find him, and I won't let anyone stop me

Octavia looked back at the grounders than at me and she sighed

Octavia- go. don't turn back either and let me regret this choice. find him safely and I wish nothing but the best, I will make sure Bellamy comes back safe and sound so when you two met it will be the best reunion

I nodded to her before lightly kicking the side of the horse to get it to move which it did. the horse started to ride off as I held onto the ropes hoping to the gods of this world that they will lead me to him. I went back to where the dropship was and followed the tracks where they were going, praying that these were his. I followed those tracks all night long till the sun came up, I only stopped for a few seconds to fill up my canteen than took off again. I didn't even bother to rest considering I needed to get to him as soon as I can before anything happens. hell, I don't even know the tracks I'm following are his or not, for all I know it can be leading me to a grounder hideout where I could get killed for fuck sake.

By nightfall once again, I was still riding and followed the foot tracks that lead me far from the camp and dropship, I had no idea where I was even going. I followed the tracks all the way to the sandy place where they disappeared, I looked around realizing I was fucking screwed before I lead the horse down the sandy hill praying, we wouldn't fall which gratefully we didn't as we continued to ride. I ate along the way keeping myself hydrated since it was like a heater from hell out here. I rode faster as I was praying to not get murdered by some random grounders, I reached this hill again and rode up it seeing nothing but sand and more sand. I rode normally till I heard this loud explosion making me ride faster towards the noise out of insict , I just didn't expect to find what I did. I looked and saw limps on the ground with a girl screaming as three people laid on the ground with blood all over them.

I looked at them as I rode closer seeing one of the people turn to me

Guy- stop!! don't move!

I stopped the horse immediately knowing whose voice that was, it belongs to Jaha.

Jaha- Phoneix? what are you doing?

the person on the middle ground turned their head making me see their face as it belonged to Murphy. he stood up fast not moving from his spot as he looked at me

Murphy- how did you find me?! I thought you were going *cuts off*

I jumped off my horse as I held my bag and gun looking at him

Phoneix- I followed tracks here, I know it was dangerous and I could have gotten myself killed but I needed to get back to you. I made the wrong choice going to save the people from Mount Weather, I should have went with you.
