Two Days Later-

My daddy attempted to help me up but I stopped him before slightly sitting up.

"I got it." I said before standing up

"Are you sure you can walk fine ? We can get a wheel chair.." and asked

"I'm fine, I'm just ready to go home." I said.

"Well, to Ant's, can I stay with you for a few days ?" I asked before my daddy furrowed his eyebrows

"Why?"

"I just don't want to be hovered over at the moment." I said and Ant nodded.

"That's coo, but no driving and stealing cars." He said before I lightly laughed

"I'm going back to school tomorrow." I said before my daddy looked at me

"No you're not, maybe next week."

"If I keep missing days j won't be able to graduate, I'm too close." I said before he sighed

"My bad if I'm being overprotective, but I'm not loosing you to no shit like that again." He said and I nodded

"I understand, but from my point of view I was constantly being hovered over and... overwhelmed so I'll be fine." I said before walking out the room.

I didn't have time to feel, shit was already moving too fast for my liking so I didn't have a choice but to keep up.

Once I got to the car with Ant my phone started ringing from Chris but I let it continue to ring as I rested my head against the window.

"Chris came through." Ant said before I looked at him

"We told him not to break the plan and he said fuck the plan and went to help you once he heard you screaming, I couldn't get to you in time but he did." Ant explained

"What was the plan ?" I asked

"Well we brought them fake money to buy time for me to search for you, but once they noticed we didn't have Mani they instantly picked up and I had to stop looking to go help paps and Dee. Chris was the driver for me and you, Des was the driver for paps and Dee." He explained before I looked down

"So I know I said I didn't fuck with Chris, but for saving and protecting you he forever has my approval now, just to put that out there." He chuckled before I lightly laughed

"Why didn't you answer ?" He asked before I shrugged

"I fucked up a lot for him, I'm not understanding why he's still trying with me." I said

"I mean he knew what he was risking when he went to help you, so I'm pretty sure he's not blaming you for the consequences, he'll figure it out though, the court case is minor, his paps is his attorney and he's a damn good one, plus he still has his main offer to the school he wanted in the first place." He said before I nodded

Once I got to Ant's I took a shower before looking at my braids and deciding to take them down. I grabbed a pair of scissors before going back to my room and sitting crisscross on the bed. I also FaceTimed Chris back and he answered not long after.

"How you feeling ?" He asked

"I feel fine." I said as I continued cutting
