3 weeks later.
Christmas Break...
Saige-
"We have to be at the airport in an hour y'all are trippin." I said to Nae
"We're coming, we have an hour.." Nae sighed
"Girl it's the holidays this airport is getting ready to be packed, Chris and Ahmad are already there." I said.
On my way out the door I bumped into a figure and surprisingly it was Kayla.
"Um what are you doing here..?" I asked
"Oh my bad, for trying to see my cousin.." she mumbled before getting ready to walk away
"No I mean we haven't spoken in months and I'm kind of late for the airport right now." I said before Nae came out behind me
"Wow.. Y'all are going on a trip..?" She asking before giving me a face
"I mean I didn't think you needed to know, you ghosted us."
"Considering y'all cut me off ?" She asked
"Can we FaceTime you and talk over this?" Nae asked but she put her hands up in surrender
"It's fine, I'll be out y'all's way I guess.." she said before walking away causing for me and Nae to look at each other
"Oh fucking well." I mumbled before walking down the hall.

Once we boarded the plane, we got comfortable and situated as we waited. Chris and Ahmad had gotten us first class tickets for both trips, so our seats reclined all the way back and me and Chris both had so much room.
The trip to LA wasn't that long by plane, so the tickets weren't crazy expensive either.
"I can't wait for New York next, I'm so ready to see the ball drop." Nae said
"Damn we haven't even made it through trip one yet." I laughed
"Who's these people that we're meeting again ?" Chris asked
"Oh, Heaven, Naomi, Sydney, Jordan, and Demauri, we clicked instantly." I told him and he nodded
"Oh, and I got us something." I said before grabbing my purse.
"This is your birthday week, why you getting me shit ?" He chuckled
"I just wanted to do something nice, be quiet." I told him and he shook his head
"Ok, close your eyes first."
"Saige." He sighed irritably
"Boy close your eyes." I repeated and he shook his head before doing so.
I pulled out two court side tickets to Lakers game tomorrow night and he opened his eyes before they went wide.
"Stop playing."
"I'm not." I replied
"Court side ? Saige how much did you pay for these ??" He asked
"Don't worry about it, just know we're going." I said and he tilted his head at me
"How'd you get them?"
"Well heaven had bought them for $700 each, and after I finally got back in contact with her, I seen that she has posted them for sale, so I bought them off her for $400 each." I said
"$400 ?? Saige." He said before giving me a straight face."
"If we get there early enough, maybe you can talk to one of the players and get your name out to them so-"
