-ENJOY-

My alarm blares, scaring me out of sleep.

I reach other and turn it off, today's been a year since I last slept with Alexander Lightwood.

I've slept with some people, but non of them are good enough.

Not as good as him.

My heart clenches, I've realized I've came to like him, actually.

I love him, I love Alexander Lightwood.

I tear up a little bit, and sigh.

We still live under the same roof, and we're nastier towards each other than ever.

I get dressed in my usual jeans, t-shirt and converses.

I put my now butt length hair into a ponytail and check out myself in the mirror.

I've gotten skinny, making my curves stand out more.

I sigh once again, and head out.

I go to the map table and see Alec, Jace, Clary, Simon, who is Clarys best friend and Izzy talking to each other.

"Valentine is making Forsakens and is spreading them around the city," Alecs voice growls.

"We need to find where they are and kill them".

Clary glares at him, as always.

"Why can't we search as a group?"

"Because it's easier to go in teams" he barks at her.

"I'll go with Jace then, and Izzy can go with Simon" she spits.

"There is NO way I'm going with Alexander" I scream, causing them to all jerk towards my direction.

"What's so bad going with me, brat?" He looks at me.

"You're always naggy, and you walk like you have a dick shoved up your ass. You always are nit-picky and you brag about how amazing you are and blah blah blah, FUCK that!" I glare at him.

The alarms start blaring through the Institute.

"THERE'S NO TIME! LET'S GO!" Alec yells.

Everyone splits up, and goes our separate ways.

Of course, Alec dragging me because I refused to go with him.

Alec and I are walking, my blades out, his arrow and bow in hand, ready to pull and shoot any second.

It's silent... And awkward.

"Y/n..." he starts.

I hum in response.

He stays quiet for a moment, "How.. How've you been?"

I snap my head up, "What?"

"You heard me" he looks forward, eyes scanning the area constantly.

"I've been okay, you?" I ask.

"I've been good, I'm engaged actually" He smiles.

A sting hits my heart.

"Engaged? Like to be...married?"

Alec hums a yeah.

A quiet "Oh, congrats" slips past my lips.

I look down, not wanting to look at him anymore, a few minutes later.

I bump into someone, I look back up.
