"STOP WHILE YOU STILL CAN Y/N! JOIN ME!" Jonathan grinned.

I looked at him.

"Y/n! Don't listen to him!" Clary screamed.

I look between them.

Then my eyes land on Alec.

And I hesitate.

Wrong choice.

Next think I know.

"You should've chose my side".

My side started to hurt.

I look down and I see red pouring out.

I look back up at Alec, and I started to sway.

"NO!" I heard someone scream.

I stumble backwards. Trying to keep myself up.

But instead, I hit the metal guard and fall over the edge.

"Y/N!" I heard another scream.

I reach out to nothing, "ALEC!" I scream with the rest of my energy.

I look up to see him leaning over the edge reaching out to me but can't reach.

I see his beautiful face and that's all I see till I hit the water.

And that's all I remember......

||Alecs pov||

It's been a year.

She's out there, I know it.

I can feel it.

"Alec," I heard Clary whisper.

I turn to look at her, "What".

"I know she's still alive, I can feel it" she smiles sadly.

"I hate agreeing with you, but I know she is. I can feel hers too".

She opens her mouth to say something. Then the alarms go off.

"WHAT'S GOING ON?" I scream.

"Someone's trying time enter the Institute!" A random guy yelled back.

Then the doors burst open with a loud bang.

Everyone stops and turns to look at who it is.

My heart stops.

"Y/n..." I mumble.

But something seems off.

"Hello my fellow Shadowhunters" she smirked.

I grab my bow and arrow, and point it straight at her.

"Go get Jace" I spit out.

"But-" Clary starts.

"NOW! CLARY!" I yell.

She looks back at her sister, and then at me and nods.

She took off running, Y/n's eyes following her till she's out of sight.

Then looks right at me.

"Alec, how dare you point that at me?" She fake gasps.

"What have you done with Y/n?" I ask.
