Family first

15. A suprise

All the girls were in the kitchen preparing dinner for tonight. The guys were in the dining room playing a game. We were making some meat and mashed potatoes, vegetables, and chips. I wanted to make some cookies for them, just like how I do at home for the boys. I had this idea when we were still by the table earlier

They were sitting by the table talking as the boys were playing soccer. I sat in between Kayla and Krissy with Annabelle, Jessie, and Alex opposite us

"How was it when you first got here?" Alex asked

"Well, it was kinda scary, but when I met the family, it was shocking," I said

"Why was it shocking?" Krissy asked

"Because I saw Kayla," I said, turning to look at kayla

"Wait, you knew each other?" Alex asked with a shocked expression

"Yea, we used to be best friends back in school," kayla said

"We were really close, but when kayla went missing, things changed." I turned back to kayla. "They blamed me for your disappearance."

"Why did they do that?" Jessie asked

"I dont know, they just did, I was so sad when they said you went missing. But I can't really blame them too much anyway. If it wasn't for them, I would have never met my family, " I said with a smile on my face

"They were the reason you got kidnapped by Shaun?" Alex asked

"Yup, we kept the tradition going when kayla went missing. We went to different parks and one day we went to an unknown park but we all had to leave early. The next day, they begged to go back to that park , and thats when Shaun came. "

"So he took you in front of them?" Krissy asked

"No. They all left me, and I had to stay and clean up, and when I was leaving, Shaun came. "

I didn't want to tell them anymore. I didn't even know if I should have told them all of that. Zayn didn't tell me if I should or shouldn't. When I saw the boys come back, some relief washed over me

"Hey girls," Jordan said

"Heyyy," we all said at the same time

"How was the game?" Jessie asked the boys

"It was nice but tiring," Nick said

"I'm hungry now," Jax said, running his hand through his now curly hair

"Dinner will be ready soon," Annabelle said

Maybe I should make some cookies for them, just like how I do at home. It would be so nice and all the boys would enjoy it. I'm going to ask Krissy if I can first

"Lete go inside girls, so we can start cooking," Jessie said

We all nodded our heads and got up. As I got up, I felt a hand pull me one side by the rail that was around the wooden porch. I quickly turned around to face the person and saw it was Zayn. He was leaning against the rail as his hands slipped down my waist

"Hey beautiful," he said, smiling

"Hey love, who was the game?" I asked

I put my hands on his chest, slowly moving it up to his neck. I took a step closer to him so that our bodies were touching

"It was fun, what did you do?"

"Just talked," I said

He smiled and pulled me in for a hug. I hugged him back, I didn't mind the sweat anymore. It meant the same back at home whenever he came back into the house
