39. New life?

It's been a month since the day we escaped. Zayn has been studying and learning a lot, his gonna get a job soon and so will I, we planning on working together. Taylor has been working for a while. He even found himself a girlfriend

We got in contact with Michael and Alex, and they are also living somewhere here. We actually have plans with them tonight while Taylor take his girlfriend out. I learned how to make new things for Zayn, and he just keeps studying

I kinda want a child, and so does he, but we said we gonna wait until we get our own house first, it's now 17: 46. We are meeting with Mike and Alex at 18:00. I got dressed, and so did Zayn, Zayn also changed the number plate on the car and dome other changes as well. We drove to the meet-up spot, and it was so nice to see them again

"How has things been?" Alex asked

"Pretty stressful, but it's alright," Zayn said

"Tell me about our first few weeks were terrible, but we got threw it," Michael said

"We not gonna keep in contact with the rest of the family," I said

"Why not?" Alex asked

"It's too risky for us," Zayn said

"Risky?" Alex asked

"We didn't leave, would permission?" I said softly

"Did he not want to let yall go?" Michael asked

"Yea. So I made a decision to leave, " Zayn said

"Mm, did yall at least hear that Kayla is pregnant again?" Alex smiled

"Really, I'm so happy for her." I smiled

"That's great for hear. Is there any other news?" Zayn asked

"Jerry died," Michael said

"Really?" Zayn asked, sounding shocked

"Yup,"

We spoke for some time and went to get supper together, Levi was also there. He is 1 and half years old and is so adorable

Supper was over, and we said our goodbyes before heading back home. Taylor wasn't there yet, Zayn and I sat and watched a movie while talking about our lives and different things. Even the smallest things were interesting to talk about. I love him, and I love being with him

This is our new life together

Taylor came home, and we all sat and spoke while watching movies and thinking about different ideas for our life's

2 more months have passed. Zayn and I got a job and have been saving up to buy a house for ourselves, I can't until we do. Zayn is at work at the moment, I took a day off to get some groceries from the shop for us. Zayn doesn't like some of the meat, but his still getting used to it.

I bought everything I needed to go home. Taylor and Zayn won't be back now, I made supper and then set it aside. I bought myself a phone and one for Zayn as well. It was so cute teaching him how to use it, I saw pictures of how my 'friends' look like now

Even though they ditched me 2 and a half years ago, I have to thank them. If I never got kidnapped, I would've never met Zayn, I would've never seen my best friend again. I would've never helped Zayn leave that house.

I would've never met Jax...

Taylor came home early today and joined me in the living room while we both watched some TV together. I waited for Zayn to get home

After a while, he did, and he looked terrified. He locked the front door and then came by me

"Is everything okay?" I asked him

He shook his head, then handed me a letter

"Michael came and gave it to me with a worried look on his face," Zayn said

I opened the letter and it said

My dear son
It's been a while
How could you leave without
Telling your father goodbye
And just leaving your brother
All alone with his useless wife
I don't know, you know, but
Kayla is pregnant, and Jerry
Is dead..

Just like how you'll be when I find

I'm going to get this letter, but I know you will

What the hell! Just when I thought our lives would be okay and that we were free. We get a stupid letter like this. I'm scared now, and so is Zayn

I will do whatever it takes to protect my family, and I'm sure he will as well. I gave him a tight hug, then a kiss before saying

"Everything well be alright."

"I won't let anyone hurt us," he whispered

There was a knock on the door that caught our attention

"I got it." Taylor went to check

He looked through the peek hole and didn't move

"Who is it?" I asked

He turned slowly and looked at us before saying

"Run"
