27. The family's visit

I got up early the next morning and just lay in the bed staring at the ceiling. For some reason, I was thinking about Taylor. The meat that I've been cooking was him. I still have the knife he gave me. If I ever have to kill again, I will use it. But not to kill, just to leave a mark, then put it away

"Angel, why did you awake so early?"

I looked to my side and saw Zayn slowly waking up.

"Sleep broke. Why are you up?"

"I felt you flinch," he said

Flinch?

"Are you okay?" He asked

"Yes, just thinking,"

I moved closer to him and wrapped my arms around him. He wrapped his arms around me, and we just lay there

"What time are we going to Jayden's house?" I asked

"We don't live too far from then, so probably a bit later, we might have to go there early so you can help Kayla cook."

"Mm okay"

We stayed there for a bit longer until the alarm went off. Zayn sighed, then got out of bed and went to the bathroom, I got out and made the bed. Zayn came back into the room, I went and sorted myself out

Zayn went to the dresser and pulled out a nice, pretty blue and white half sleeved dress. It was kinda lose so I liked it. Zayn put on a white T-shirt and blue jeans, and he helped me put my shoes on. I tied my hair up into a high ponytail and was ready

Zayn and I went downstairs, and only Jax was there

"Where's dad?" Zayn asked him

"He went to help Jayden out," he said

I went to the kitchen and made breakfast for the 3 of us, then took it to the table, we all ate in silence. Once we were done, Jax took the bowls again.

Strange

I went to the kitchen and to my suprise he was washing dishes

"Why are you washing dishes?" I asked

"You not supposed to be asking questions, Ang?" He said

"I know, but why not? I already know what I'm assuming is everything, and I even joined you while you were cutting meat. "

I walked closer to him, and I saw him smirking

"True, if I have to cut again, you must join me. It's more fun when I have someone to do it with"

Zayn walked into the kitchen and was leaning against the counter with his arms crossed over his chest

"I'll see. You didn't answer my question, " I said

"Your hand is still hurt,"

Oh

I looked down at my hand and saw a few cuts and scabs, it looks as if Zayn was cutting me, but he didn't. Jax finished up, and we all went to the living room to wait for Shaun to get back

"Ang, why did you and Taylor kill?" Jax asked

"Um.. after that day, when the dog attacked, I started killing random animals. It was getting out of hand, and Taylor knew I wasn't just gonna stop, so he showed me a way to make it less brutal. "

"Why did you kill after that incident?" Zayn asked

"I felt like more animals would harm her again, so I kept killing until I felt a weird feeling."

"What was the feeling?" Zayn asked

Just as he asked that question, Shaun walked in. He looked at us and then went into the kitchen. We all stood up, and he came back into the room
