Chapter 3

Reader pov

All of us were on the roof top discussing about summer vacation while Izumi was sitting in the shade. "Izumi come here we're discussing about summer vacation." Inuzuka said. Izumi started walking to us only for a cicada to hit him in the head. "Just as always." Inuzuka said. "Small misfortune isn't even surprising right now." Neko said. "Yeah." I said. As we same Shikimori tap a water bottle next to izumi's cheek. "For you." Shikimori said. As Hachimitsu tried to put her umbrella over Izumi while standing on her tippy toes as Izumi took the umbrella and put it over both of them. "Alright I wanna go to the sea during summer holiday." Nekozaki said as I saw Shikimori excited about going to the sea. "They're so excited." Hachimitsu said. "Yep Nekozaki and Shikimori are excited." I said. Though look at Shikimori and Izumi one likes summer and the other hates it. "Izumi would have fun in a cooler place right." Inuzuka said. "Mhm he can't handle sunlight." I said walking to them.  "And we can go to the river." "Yeah the river sounds nice too." Nekozaki said. Then Izumi was conflicted with them why they didn't choose the sea. "We're not thinking about you it's more fun if we go somewhere that we all can enjoy." Inuzuka said. "Where do you want to go Izumi." I said looking at him. "Yeah the river sounds nice." Izumi said. "Then it's decided." Nekozaki said. "But the combination of river and Izumi sound dangerous too." Hachimitsu said. "That's right." Inuzuka and Nekozaki said. "Don't worry I'll be there." Shikimori said. "That was so cool mi-chon." Nekozaki said. "W..wait I'm gonna be mad you know." She said in a cute voice. "She embarrassed now. So cute."Nekozaki said. We all continued discussing about summer vacation until the school bell rang

(A few days later)

All of us were looking at the calendar seeing that it was final exam week. "The exam week is finally starting today. All club activities are on halt during this week." Neko said. "You look so excited." Izumi said. "Of course because of speaking what to do on the first day of holiday." Neko said which it slowly transitioned to us at the mall.

"We're going to shop for things at the river." Nekozaki said. "Why? I only came here because you told me it was a study meeting and what are you buying anyways? Let me go home." Inuzuka said.  "We already have tools for the barbecue." Izumi said. "You guys don't get it your really don't get it." Neko said. "Yeah I don't at all." I said. "Oh speaking of river we need swimsuits." Neko said as Shikimori and Izumi sweat dropped. "Your right." Hachimitsu said interested. "Only kids wear swimsuits at a river." Inu said as it turned an argument between neko and inu with how screwed we are if we didn't study. Seeing the conversation about Izumi swimming knowing he won't. "Then let's go shopping for swimsuits (y/n), mi-chon." Nekozaki said. "If Izumi is not swimming I'll pass." Shiki said. "We're going." Nekozaki said as I followed them to the store. Me, Hachimitsu, and Nekozaki were looking at swimsuits while we saw Shikimori looking at a provocative one. "Oh mi-chon you came too." Nekozaki said seeing Shikimori pickup a black bikini set. "Ahh mi-chon that's a little bit extreme." Nekozaki said. "It's nothing Izumi was just looking at a girl in an ad wearing the same swimsuit just now." Shikimori said blushing. Seeing the blush on shikimori's face gave Nekozaki a smug look. "Anyways while two are discussing im gonna try something on." I said to them. "Alright calliope." Nekozaki said as I went to the changing room.

Nekozaki pov

"After all mi-chon is competitive." I said. "Eh." She said. "You don't know that yourself." I said looking at her. "Well she's right." Hachimitsu said. "It's usually hard to tell but you sometimes act like that just now." I said.

(Flashback)

Me, Hachimitsu, and (y/n) were hanging out as I saw Shikimori walk past us. "Hey Hachimitsu, (y/n)." I said. "What." They both said. "About Shikimori isn't she super cute." I said seeing her walk. "Who's Shikimori." Hachimitsu said. "She's in our class. You should remember. She has a tiny head silky hair, she's thin and smart has big blue eyes. And on top of that a kind personality. She's ranked the No. 1 in terms of best bride. She's the idealized Japanese female. She so graceful! I want to become friends with her." I said staring into Hachimitsu. We were then in the classroom while Hachimitsu was eating while my head was on the desk and (y/n) was reading a manga. "Well calm down that's creepy." Hachimitsu said. "Everyone becomes creepy when a cute girls shows up in front of them. I mean look at (y/n) she probably has a crush on someone or getting love letters." I said looking at her. "I want to get along with her." I said. "Well your right if shes that perfect it's actually hard to approach her." Hachimitsu said. I began to discuss more about how she's dating Izumi. "I'm tall and have a rough personality. It's not like I'm bothered by that but I love girls who are fluffy and soft and smell good. You'd want to protect them! That's just the exact opposite of one's self." I said. "She is just the ideal girl." I said. "Really." Hachimitsu said. "Yes." I said
