They all sat in a circle around her, and she felt a bit overwhelmed. "So... you were in the upside down?" Eleven asked, looking concerned. "Y-yea. I was planning to tell my family and friends I'm alive... should I?" She asked hopefully, messing with her thumbs. "We'd have to make up a story." Mike said, thinking hard. "Maybe she got... kidnapped? But she didn't see the kidnapper. She escaped when the earthquake hit!" Nancy said, and the group agreed. Chrissy decided the first call would be to Jason, her boyfriend. She dialed his number, and just as she thought he wasn't gonna answer, she heard a small, "hello?" Come from the phone. "Hi." She said, almost at a whisper. "W-who is this?" He said, alarmed. She could tell he recognized her voice. "Jason. It's me." It was silent for a moment. "This is sick. Why would- why would you..." he said, losing track of his words. "Jason, I promise. Double pinky swear." She whispered softly. Only her and Jason knew about that. They had made it up years ago, for when they really meant something. "Chrissy?... how?-.." she could feel the tears in his eyes. Then he hung up.
