Not as underutilized as some characters, but I would definitely like to see more on this character. From what we do get from him, he is a very likeable character. He cares for others, and can utilize his Quirk in many different ways, which would be great for Hero work.
Academically, he is definitely safe, as he seems to be middle of the pack with everything. On to the Practical Hero studies, he is another character that works well with others, whether one on one or with a larger group. He works well as a scout, muscle, and even rescue. He is shown to care for others on the field, as made note during the Provisional License arc when he kept Tsu as warm as possible.
Overall, a great character that I wish would get some more love.
