My Madeleine

CHAPTER 3

Lorenzo's Office

Lorenzo's POV

At this point I won't have a lawyer, everyone that I've interviewed has been shit and they were starting to piss me off. Some weren't fit the job and some of them really got on my nerves. My personal assistant, Kiara told me that there was one more woman waiting for an interview so I told her to let the woman in. She better not disappoint me. The only person I haven't interviewed is someone called Madeleine Falade, I'm pretty sure that's my sister's friend. Soon after, I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in" I said, the door opened and the most beautiful woman walked in. My heart skipped a beat.

She had black hair, black eyes and was mostly dressed in black. She didn't smile, looks like she has RBF but she looked sexy as hell. Her lips were full and shiny.

"Take a seat" I said and she walked up to the chair, her curvy hips swaying from side to side and sat on the chair. I wish she sat on my fa-

"Madeleine Falade?" I questioned her. She had siren eyes and it was doing something to me. I stared into her eyes and she stared into mine, keeping eye contact then looked away.

"Yes" she responded.

"So you're not even in your late 20s but you've finished law school, how do I know that you can take this role?" That seems young as hell to have already finished law school and finding someone attractive isn't a good enough reason to hire them. I checked her resume. I want the best of the best.

"Although I haven't worked as a lawyer yet I have plenty of work experience when it comes to law and I graduated high school and went to university and law school earlier because I have a lot of potential and try my hardest" she explained. I guess Madeleine's right and she does have a lot of work experience. I've sent everyone away already.

"Hmm" I thought "Tell me about yourself"

"I'm 23, I did work experience at Law Office NYC for 2 months where I was handling contracts and documents, I majored in law and I've watched trials in court" she said. Law Office NYC is one of the best law firms in the whole of the USA. I have a good feeling about Madeleine. Then I asked some other basic questions. After a long awkward silence I finally said

"You're hired" she looked up at me. as I stretched my hand out to shake hers.

"Thank you Mr Lombardi" she said as we shook hands, her hand was soft and I could feel her acrylics. I noticed that she had small black tattoos on her hands.

"But there's something you have to know first" I began to explain as she put her hand back on her lap.

"Ok"

"You need to move in with me" I said.

I do have meetings at home that she would need to attend which might be later than usual but Madeleine doesn't actually have to move in. I just want her to. Plus it would be convenient for her.

Madeleine's POV

"Huh?" I said confused. It never said I had to move in on the details and why would I have to move in.

"You heard me" he said "But it would be weird to move in right now, so I will give you 5 days, May 19th" I'm still confused.

"Why do I need to move in?" I asked.
