Madeleine's POV
"Ok no" I said as I pulled my hair out of little Gabriel's grip. I know babies are strong but this is too much. Dario and Angelika were currently working and brought him to the mansion to ask one of us to look after him since his nanny's on holiday given that it's summer. I have experience with babysitting so I agreed.
I'm not actually working right now but I came to my office to grab a few things I left here, carefully, I put Gabriel back in his stroller so I could put my belongings in my tote bag and then put it in the stroller's storage basket because I don't feel like holding things right now. Alex, my personal bodyguard was waiting for me downstairs at the lobby.
It's been a little over two weeks since we've returned from Sicily. I haven't seen Lorenzo around lately and now he's somewhere in Russia with Valentino and Dario discussing with the Russian Mafia.
Apparently they don't like each other much but they despise the De Luca's even more. So I guess they're gonna gang up on whoever the De Luca's are.
I've been craving oreo's lately so I might just head to the store before Gabriel and I go home. We already went on an hour walk in the garden behind the mansion since it's huge, I thought he might need some fresh air.
"Who is it?" I asked as I heard a knock on the door and picked up Gabriel.
My beautiful mum then entered the room with a wide smile, ignoring my question, and pulled up her Prada sunglasses to rest on her head.
She wore a fitted white dress with some floral patterns that matched the colour of her Birkin. She had so many and I remember raiding her walk-in closet when I was 16 and taking her perfume. Her wrists were concealed with gold bracelets and she had her Cross necklace on.
"Kaasan, my dear, how are you?" she said coming towards me for a hug. "And who's this adorable baby?" she had her eyes on Gabriel and tickled him, causing him to laugh and smile.

"E Kaasan mum, I'm fine, what about you? This is my friend's son, his name is Gabriel. I'm looking after him today because they're both busy"
"I see, I came here to have lunch with you, unless you're busy now?" she asked and I shook my head.
"No we can go eat at one of the restaurants nearby, I just have to send a message quick" If she had known about the whole situation then I would've brought her to the mansion because Davide's cooking is phenomenal, but she doesn't know and I don't feel like explaining everything to her before we start arguing.
