You sliced another Titan, and at this point you were tired. You looked your blades and see that you only have one pair left and you've been exhausting on your gas. You don't know how much you have left but you know it's not a lot.

(Y/n): I need to resupply.

You latched on a roof and you saw an abnormal running at the rearguard. You were in hot pursuit.
You chased that Titan and you saw that the Garrison were also chasing it. But a blur went past them and sliced the Titan. You landed next to them and you saw it was Mikasa.

(Y/n): Mikasa!

Mikasa looked away from her blades and looked at you with widened eyes.

Mikasa: (Y/n)!

Mikasa went towards you.

Mikasa: Are you alright? Where's your squad?

(Y/n): I sent Krista and Ymir over the wall. I sent Connie to look for Armin's squad to regroup. I don't have the heart to tell her that Eren might be dead.

She nodded and you heard voices of civilians yelling at the gate.

(Y/n): What the hell is taking so long? Why can't they go through?

Mikasa: I don't know but let's go see the problem.

Both of you went up check for the disturbance at the gate and see that a giant wagon was being forced to go through the gate with a big man yelling back at the civilians.

Mikasa: What are you doing?

The crowd looked at her, as well as the big man. The big man looked relieved.

Merchant: Oh perfect timing! Get them to help me! I'll make it worth your while!

You looked at the civilians and some were scared and angry. You realized the situation of what's happening quickly.

(Y/n): This greedy bastard is trying to leave with his riches. The people aren't too happy about the hold up and want to get out of here.

Mikasa also figured out the situation and pointed her blade in a look of disbelief at the direction of the middleguard and vanguard.

Mikasa: My comrades are dying as we speak. They're fighting and dying because the citizens haven't finished evacuating.

The Merchant raised his voice at gazed at her.

Merchant: Of course they are! It's the duty of the soldier to defend our lives and property! Don't you freeloaders think that you have the authority of telling me what to do after doing nothing for a century!

You furrowed your brow in annoyance and anger.

Mikasa: If you think people dying for another is a matter of course then I understand that you should know that a single life can save many.

Merchant: Just try it! I'll tell your boss about this and he would punish you!

He sent his two goons with him to restrain Mikasa but you jumped in punching one in the gut and doing a roundhouse kick to the other, knocking them out.

Mikasa pulled another of her blades and walked to the Merchant and pointed them at him.

Mikasa: How could a corpse talk, I wonder?

The civilians were looking at her in awe and the goons looked scared but ready to fight. You gave them a glare of your own and they backed off.

Merchant: W-wait!

Goon: Boss? What do we do?

He was hesitating to make an answer but Mikasa's look turned into a glare.
