You were by the stables with Nova, Krista and Ymir. You fed Nova a sugar cube. You started to cuddle her snout, making her neigh in delight.
(Y/n): Who's a good girl? Yesh you are, you are. You're the good girl.
Ymir and Krista have never seen you like this. It gave Ymir a disgusted look while Krista looked happy.
Krista: You really care for her don't you? I'm happy you're good with your horse.
(Y/n): Yeah, I had her a few years back. We practically grew up together so I think we're the same age. I was pretty sad when I had to leave though.
Krista smiled at the information but then had a look of curiosity.
Krista: Did you have anyone else that was the same age as you when you were here?
(Y/n): Uh, not everyone here were adults, I was the only kid.
Krista: ... Was it ever lonely?
You stopped patting Nova and looked at her.
(Y/n): To be honest, a little but you know I'm still happy since many of them made time for me.
You saw that Eren was with the rest of the group, talking.
(Y/n): Come on, let's go see what they're talking about.
The three of you approached Eren who's talking with Jean, Mikasa and the rest of the gang.
Eren: Are you really...
Mikasa: Yes, we'll all be going on the next expedition.
Eren saw you approaching and went up to you.
Eren: Did you know of this?
(Y/n): Yeah I did, the Survey Corps don't have a lot of people so we need as many as we can.
Jean walked towards Eren with a serious look on his face.
Jean: Hey, Eren. I heard that when you transformed back at Trost, you tried to kill Mikasa. Would you like to explain that?
Mikasa and Eren looked surprised as well as the rest of the group.
(Y/n): Was that why I saw a red flare? He wasn't able to control himself at first?
Mikasa: That's wrong he was trying to swat a fly-
Jean: I didn't ask you Mikasa. That cut on your cheek looks pretty bad. When did you get that?
(Y/n): A fly?
Eren: I think it's true. When I transformed I tried to kill Mikasa.
Jean: So you don't really remember? Then that means you didn't even know how you got this power or know how to control it.
(Y/n): That's true. I wonder how he'd even get the power in the first place.
Eren: Yeah, that's right.
Jean: You hear that everyone? That's the situation we're in. Humanity and all of us have to depend on him. Like Marco, we'll probably die without him noticing.
Mikasa: Jean, what's the point of asking these questions?
Jean looked over his shoulder and stared at Mikasa. Normally he would be shy, and stuttering when near her but he held his ground with the same serious look.
Jean: Mikasa... not everyone here but you can just follow Eren blindly and die without expecting anything in return.
You looked at Mikasa. She definitely did not like the comment but kept to herself.
