The Forest of Giant Trees, trees that were even bigger than the Colossal Titan itself. It seemed to be a safe place for the Scouts to rest since the Titans can't climb. Even if they could, they prove to be too slow so one can escape their grasp. That was where (Y/n) was headed.
You were riding on Nova through the thick vegetation of the area. You've already encountered some Titans on the way, but they didn't prove to be a challenge for you since they have not come in as a large group.
(Y/n): How far deep did the Scouts go in this forest? God, it's like it's never ending.
A loud explosive noise was heard deeper in the forest.
(Y/n): Was that them? I have to hurry.
You went deeper towards the direction of the noise. As you venture closer, you see the figure of the Female Titan. You looked up and saw multiple Scouts on top of branches. You stood up from Nova and switched to your ODM gear. You climbed up the branches and saw Erwin with Levi.
(Y/n): Commander Erwin! Levi!
Levi quickly turned to your direction and gave a look of surprise.
Levi: (Y/n)? You're alright?
(Y/n): Yes I am, I'm sorry I couldn't be here earlier for the preparations.
Erwin: Hm it's fine, (Y/n). Levi and I thought the worst when you didn't show up with Hange. We're glad you're alright. Although, Hange is going to be angry with you since she was worried.
Levi: Tch, damn you for making us worry like that (Y/n).
(Y/n): Haha it won't happen again. Anyways *turns to the Female Titan with a glare* We got the bitch?
Levi: Yeah, and I'm going to hurt it even more.
Levi pulled out his swords and was going to go for a strike on the Female Titan. Erwin saw this and prevented it.
Erwin: Wait Levi, we need to be cautious. Squads 2, Squads 3! Fire! Use all of them, even the reserves!
More shots were hitting the Female Titan as you watched. After all the remaining shots were used you looked at Erwin.
(Y/n): Erwin... I know he doesn't show it, but using the remaining rounds, he's trying to hurt the Female Titan even more as payback. Payback for the number of casualties we have.
You looked back at the Female Titan and you saw Hange nearby, as well as Miche.
(Y/n): Everything went according to plan. But... All those deaths... they won't be in vain. We'll find out who you are, Female Titan.
You pulled your notebook out, ready to collect the information of the Titan. You saw Erwin issuing orders to Miche and Levi to go take whoever was inside out.
They both jumped off the branch to strike the nape but once their blades made contact, their swords broke off and you saw something that looked like blue crystal covering her skin.
(Y/n): What the hell is that? Is it like the Armored Titan? I've never seen it before but reports from the day Shiganshina said that the Armor Titan deflected cannon fire. Is the Female Titan using the same type of armor? If that's the case why is it only covering certain areas? Maybe it's another ability.
You jotted down about the hard substance that's only reshowing itself every time someone tries to strike her.
(Y/n): Is it limited?
Erwin held up his arm, and you heard him commanding the Scouts to prepare explosives on the wrist, meanwhile you looked at Levi in amusement as he's kicking the Female Titan's head.
