Dustin hoisted himself up by a push of his hand against his knee, failing at holding back tears. Before he went on his way, he looked back behind him, to get one last glance of Eddie The Banished anyone would ever see.
Dustin turned around, ran his arm against his face, wiping tears, and began to walk away, limping.
Eddie lay still, breathless. His eyes still open, yet no longer glossy. A last tear, ridding his ducts, ran down his cheek, and hit the cold, bloodied ground.
