Double update Pt 1

I recommend screenshotting the most recent character chapter. All the new names may be confusing 😅

I will be starting a one-shot book for TSMP. The stories of the other kids (Blue, Rio, and Lucky) will be in that book. I wanted to put their mini stories in this book, but it just didn't fit the plot.

Anyways, enjoy the double update <3

Third Person
Location: Ricci's Mansion, New York

Ayla watches from the top of the stairs as her mother opens the door for her friends' families.

She recognizes two of the adults as Luna Baros and Salvador Diaz, underbosses for the Spanish Mafia. Alessio Santoro, an underboss for the Italian Mafia, is also standing among them with his wife, Lisa.

"Which one do you think is mine?" Blue asks quietly. Ayla observes each family carefully, trying to find similarities.

"Them." She points to the Santoros.

"But Alessio and Lisa never had kids," Blue argues.

"And Lucia Cruz never had a seventh child," Ayla refutes.

"They look like Rio." Blue points to Victor and Isabella Baros, children of Luna and Hugo.

"Who does?" Rio asks, joining the two girls by the stairs with Lucky by his side.

"Victor and Isabella," Blue responds. "You look like a younger version of Victor."

"Cool," Rio whispers. "I have a sister!"

"That must mean Lucky's a Diaz," Ayla whispers, pointing to Nico Diaz. He looks like a very old version of their friend.

"How did we not realize we're related to them?" Blue wonders out loud. "We literally studied about them during training."

None of the kids respond.

The question is one that Ayla has been dwelling on for some time, but never fully thought about it. The various possible answers worry her beyond explanation.

"Do you think they're nice?" Lucky asks.

"Yes. They are." The four kids jump and turn around.

"When did you get here?" Ayla asks Gwenethdolyn.

"A little while ago," she says with a shrug. Noting that the three new children are staring at her intently, she smiles.

Blue nearly melts.

"Oh great," Rio mutters when he sees his friend's reaction. "One is obsessed with Lorenzo and the other is obsessed with his girlfriend."

Ayla giggles quietly as Gwen suppresses her own amusement.

"You should stop spying and go down to talk to them," she says. "They're all extremely nice and kind. You'll be treated well and loved."

They look at each other apprehensively, as if silently daring one another to go first.

"Alright. You brought this upon yourselves," Gwen says with a sigh. She puts two fingers in her mouth and whistles.

The shrill sound isn't exceptionally loud, but it's loud enough for Lorenzo to hear. Grinning, he emerges from his room.

The kids don't have time to react as they're scooped into Gwen and Lorenzo's arms.

Blue and Lucky don't protest as they're both in the arms of their idols. Ayla doesn't bother fighting, but she's definitely not happy with being carried down.
