Connection Lost
I’ve decided to cut my connection.
Yeah, my connection to the world.
I log out all my social media accounts
and turned my data connection off.
I’m aware that I’ve received messages
but I didn’t bother to reply at all.
What I did was to shutdown my phone
and remove its battery.
If you’ll ask why I did it.
It’s because I already lost my connection.
What’s the use of being online
if you have no one to chat to?
Who would dare to call my number
and ask why it is unattended?
Who would even worry
that I’m no longer reachable?
People ignore me most of the time
and notice me when they need something.
I’d rather be alone than to be with them
for in the first place, I’m not connected.
