Is this the place
that they called home?
Is this the place
they say I belong?
I looked around
and I just smile.
This is it, I’m back
but everyone is gone.
This is not home anymore,
it’s just a plain house now.
They leave me alone.
They didn’t die, they just left.
Both of my parents
don’t love me, their child.
They both have an affair
and I was left longing for their love.
Is this the place?
Yes, this is the place—
where they left me crying
and begging them not to leave.
