I Wish I Could
I wish I could be
this lady inside me.
How? How will I be her?
I tried but kept failing.
This lady inside me
want to do a lot of things—
to be talented like others
but I guess she’ll never be.
I wish I could sing and dance too.
I wish I could paint and draw too.
I wish I could play instruments too.
I wish I could play sports too.
I wish for many things
and unable to do them.
I’m a sickly person and I hate it.
I just wish I’m not.
I wish I could really be
this lady inside me that I dream.
This lady who’s able
to do the things I want to do.
