Sadly, Chan and I can't hang out today. I'll just have to call or text him. I got a D- on my test today in math. Because of that, I can't hang out with Channie. Stupid, right? I hate math anyway, but my mom is disappointed in me. Not everyone can be as smart as Rosé, I told her and that's what got me sent to my room.

Now I'm here, pretending to be going over my math textbook. Chan is going to go to school for the next four days before going to Korea. Lucky for him that on his last school days here in Australia we don't even have to do school. We're going on a three day field trip to a camp. Supposedly we're gonna be swimmings and learning skills and stuff. Doesn't sound bad. I open my messages to Chan and text him. Better than studying by far.

"True." She shrugs and is about to leave the room but I stop her.

"Are you telling mom?" I ask, scared for my future social life. She starts laughing again and shakes her head, then leaves. I roll my eyes at her but continue to text Chan.
