"Ughhhhhh finally!" Izuku exlaimed as he had made it to the village gate

Izuku saw that everyone was in the guild hall as he went there after changing clothes. He entered the guild hall as everyone looked at him

"Izaken!!" Everyone yelled as they tackled hugged him

"Guys please get off" izuku asked as the villagers let go

"Iza-nii we were worried sick" Wendy said as she came up to izuku

"Yes, Wendy couldn't sleep very well due to your recklessness" Carla said as she sighed

"Sorry Wendy, but I did tell you this job would take some time"izuku said as he e pat Wendy on the head

"I know, but I can't help but worry" Wendy replied

Izuku chuckled as he heard roubaul speak

"So iza boy, did you do your job like a good boy?" Roubaul said clearly drunk

"About that master, I would like to talk to you alone about the details" izuku said as roubaul saw that he was serious

Roubaul nodded as he led izuku to a room in the back of the guild

Izuku saw that they were alone as he explained everything that happened on the job, Minus the sparda son thing.

Roubaul hit izuku on the head after hearing what happened as he scolded him for being reckless

"I deserve that" izuku said as he rubbed his head

"Also gramps I need you to look at something" izuku said as roubaul nodded

Izuku removed the bandages around his hands as he showed roubaul his fingers which were ash black

"It's begun" roubaul said afraid for izuku

"That's not all" izuku said as he lifted his shirt showing roubaul the mark

"Your devil Mark, it's appeared" roubaul said as a book appeared in his hand

He read the book for a minute before closing it as he explained

"The devil mark is supposed to symbolize your growth in power and intelligence"

"It will grow as you grow stronger but it will also symbolize your down fall" roubaul said as he sighed

"What do you mean?" Izuku asked

"Your transformation into a devil and your devil Mark appearing at the same time is not a coincidence" roubaul said as he stroked his beard

"So your saying that the devil Mark's growth represents the time I have as a human?" Izuku asked

"Unfortunately" roubaul said as he looked down

"Then I better make sure that I find a cure fast" izuku said optimistic

"How can you smile at news like this?" Roubaul asked

"Because even In the darkest hour a smile is the thing that will eradicate the darkness" izuku said as roubaul chuckled

"Did you make that saying yourself" he asked smiling

Izuku hummed answering yes as roubaul got something else

"Clearly I had given you too much time to prove yourself but after I heard what you did on this mission along with the endorsement from both master Yajima and Makarov I think your ready" roubaul said as he gazed at izuku
