The sun was setting as the sky had turned to a crimson huem Nirvana's dark light changed from black to white. Wendy woke up some time after Lucy and the others confronted Angel and her celestial spirits. Carla had safely moved the unconscious Wendy to a nearby cliff.
"Carla? What happened?" Wendy inquired, feeling confused as she rubbed her eyes.

"The Pegasus boy caused you to fall unconscious to shield you from Nirvana's effects," Carla explained.
"What about Lucy-san and the others? And where's Lancia-chan and Vergil-san?" Wendy asked anxiously, as Carla reassured her.
"Calm yourself! Honestly, you might give me a heart attack at this rate," Carla sighed, proceeding to explain what had transpired.
Meanwhile- By the river where Lucy and Hibiki engaged in battle with Angel, Lucy regained consciousness. She discovered herself adorned in a new outfit reminiscent of the attire from the Celestial Spirit world, leaving her bewildered.
"What's with these clothes?" Lucy questioned, inspecting the dress.
"They are garments from the Spirit world, considering your previous clothes were quite tattered," Virgo explained, startling Lucy as she jumped back.
"Virgo!" Lucy exclaimed, surprised.
Natsu also awoke, sporting an outfit matching Lucy's.
"Where are we?" he asked, rubbing his head.
"I gave Natsu-sama a matching outfit as well," Virgo explained.
"That really wasn't necessary..." Lucy remarked with a sweatdrop.
"Jellal! Where is he? Where's that light?" Natsu demanded as he stood up angrily.
The three of them turned their attention to the bright white pillar of light.
"It's near, and the color has changed," Lucy observed.
"Yes, it shifted from black to white while you were unconscious," Virgo explained.
Natsu, initially angry, took a deep breath, calming down as he glanced at Lucy.
"That was a close one. Thanks," Natsu expressed, and Lucy blushed.
"What's gotten into you all of a sudden?" Lucy asked, looking away.
"He liiiikes you!" Virgo teased, maintaining her usual monotone voice but with a smug smile.
"Cut it out," Lucy snapped at Virgo.
"Where's Happy?" Natsu inquired, scanning the surroundings.
"He wasn't here when I arrived," Virgo explained.
"Oh well. I guess it's just the two of us then. Let's head to that light," Natsu suggested, and Lucy nodded.
"In that case, I shall be taking my leave, Princess," Virgo said to Lucy, bowing before disappearing and returning to the Spirit world as natsu and lucy went towards nirvana.
