Chapter 2

I put a silencing spell up around the room

"How could you keep this from me!?" I yelled

"You know better than to help anyone close to Valentine. What's worse is that it's his daughter!" I continued

"Stella, I swear I did it with the best intentions. Clary she was just a kid and Jocelyn didn't want her involved in the down world. I swear I only wanted to help them." he said

I took a deep breath, calming myself.

"Magnus, I know you were only trying to help. As the high warlock of New York though, you must understand that due to you helping her, it will put warlocks at risk. As your mate, I am proud of you, but Valentine will do whatever it takes to get what he wants, and I fear he may harm you." i told him

"My love, I understand the position I have put you in. I promise that I will do whatever it takes to get back in your good graces." he said walking towards me

He picked me up before slowly kissing me. Soon it turned into something more. We were relaxing afterwards.

"Let's go to bed, my belove. Tomorrow will be a long day." I said

We soon went to bed until morning came. I used my magic creating breakfast for everyone before preparing to leave.

"Where are you going?" Magnus asked

"I am still high warlock of high warlocks. I have to check on the other safe houses." I told him

"I understand. be safe, my star. Come back to me in one piece." he told me

"I shall be back by midnight." I told him

I opened a portal, traveling to Xavier, the high warlock of Queens. 

With Magnus

I watched as she left and started doing my own thing. I helped warlocks until one stopped me to talk. We walked to the private parts of the hotel.

"Magnus, consider the other warlocks--" Elias was saying

"When did you become so talkative?" I asked sighing in exhaustion

"Magnus, I beg you to reconsider." Elias asked

"Always, frowning, Elias. you may be immortal but, mmm... you're not immune to crow's feet." i told him gently touching his face

"You cannot attend this meeting. no matter what the Shadowhunter is offering. valentine is getting close. It is far too dangerous for you to leave the lair." he told me

"I was alive when the dead sea was just a lake that was feeling a little poorly. While I value your counsel... so much red brick makes me feel like a caged animal." I told him as we looked through the window

"Is one necklace really worth the risk?" he asked me

"This necklace is. This discussion is over." I said in all seriousness

"Have every warlock help strengthen the wards while I'm gone. I may be willing to fight valentine, my guests are not." I told him walking away getting ready for the meeting.

I portaled to Pandemonium, enjoying the party, waiting for the shadow hunters. 

It was 5 minutes before the meeting time. I went and sat down preparing myself.

"Magnus!" I looked up and saw Jace Wayland calling me

I stand up and walk around the couch

"Clary Fairchild. You've grown into a beautiful young woman." i told her

"Magnus Bane. So, you're the one who stole all my memories." She accused

"At your mother's request. She knew the risk." I defended

"Show me the jewelry, Shadowhunter." I ordered Jace

He lifted the necklace in front of me and I tried to grab it.

"ohh. Give Clary back her memories and you get the jewelry." He told me

"I have to confirm its authenticity." I said

He handed it to me and I looked at the back of it. Amor

"Amor verus numquam moritur" "True love cannot die." I said translating it

"Oh, how I've missed this jewel. My belove will love to have this." I said

"Now it's your turn to pay up." Clary said

"I wish I could retrieve your memories, but I no longer have them." I told her 

"What? Where are they?" She asked

"I fed them to a memory demon for safe keeping." I told them

"And why the hell would you do that?" Jace asked

"To protect Clary and the Cup. if valentine ever captured me, he could torture Clary's memories out of me. Just like he tortured Dot." I said 

"Tortured? Wait is Dot okay?" Clary asked me

"Wait you don't know? Dot is dead." I told her gently

"What? How do you know? My belove and I can't feel her magic anymore. Valentine killed her because she would not betray your mother." I told her

"Oh my god." she said shaking her head

"Come with me Clary. My lair can offer you protection no shadowhunter ever could." I said moving her aside

"No! No, I'm not going anywhere with you." She said backing away

"Don't be a fool. Your mother would want you to live." I told her

"Then help me get my memories back from whatever demon you gave them to." She said coming towards me

"Valentine is hunting you, too. And every moment we're outside my lair's protection, is a moment Valentine gets closer to finding us." I told before creating a portal

"Come with me. I won't offer again." I told her holding my hand out.

"No. no, I won't hide from my problems, and neither should you." She told me before someone yelled

I moved to see an arrow fly past me and into a circle member. I saw as a guy came past us to check the person. He was hot. My belove will love him.

"Who are you?" I said to myself

I stared at him before heading towards my portal

"You're my only hope." Clary said

"Valentine found us. I warned your mother this might happen." I said before going into the portal

With Stella

I portaled to every lair, helping warlocks keep safe. When I reached the last lair before heading back home, I noticed Magnus magic.

I will kill that man when I get back home. As I finished the wards, I felt the Brooklyn lair's wards go down. I rush to finish everything before portaling home. Immediately I noticed I was surrounded by Circle members.

"Ahh, The High Warlock of New York. Valentine has been looking for you." One of the member said

"Five against one. Don't you think that is a bit unfair." I said

"We'll fight you one on one." A member said cockily

"Oh, no. I mean for you." I said as I shined my eyes before using my chaos magic.

"This will be fun" I said

I lifted two in the air before ripping there hearts out as the other three attacked. I made a ball of energy throwing it at a member. Three down two to go. I back flipped and through my power at them, killing them on the spot. I look around only to see warlocks dead. My people, my family. I will kill the circle.

"Magnus!" I yelled
