I woke up sad, knowing my mate is marrying someone else.

"Come, my star. We need to be brave today. Afterall, we have a present to deliver. Which brings me to our next topic, what shall we give our dear mate for this occasion?" He asked

I leaned against the headboard. "How about we give him a free warlock call. He does not need to pay us for anything, just once though." I said

"Not a bad idea. Definitely saves us time of conjuring up a present." He told me

I just laughed

"Anyway, my dear. You need to get dressed. I called Alec over. He is on his way now, as we speak." Magnus told me

I throw the blanket off me and walk inside our closest. Finally, I was dressed. We waited for Alec when we sensed him. I prepared us drinks.

"Hello! Magnus! Stella! Y'all said you y'all needed to speak with me." Alec said walking in the apartment

"Nice to see you, Alec." Magnus said

"Hello, dear Alexander. We weren't sure if you'd come." I said afterwards handing him a drink

"You know how Stella and I hate to drink by ourselves." Magnus said going to clink glasses together, but Alec put his down

"I didn't come here to drink. Do either of you have any information--" He started before Magnus finished for him. "On the warlock who cast a spell on Jocelyn?"

"We're looking into it. But.. we never really finished our conversation after Izzy's trial. About you wedding?" I said

"There's no conversation to be held. I'm getting married. Magnus, you and I, we understand marriage very differently. I'm a Shadowhunter. This is about family, and tradition, honor--"he was saying

"Honor? Where's the honor in living a lie?" Magnus interrupted him

"What are you talking about?" Alec asked him

"What about love? Even Shadowhunters fall in love, Alec." magnus told him

"Just tell us you're in love with Lydia, and we'll stop." I said

"I don't know. Why do you both keep pushing?" he asked before stammering over his words

"You're confusing me." He said taking a breath walking away from us

"Confusion is part of it. That's how you find out if something's there. Emotions are never black and white. they're more like symptoms." I said as Magnus and I circle himstand next to him

"You lose your breath every time they enter a room." Magnus said

I snapped my fingers. "Your heart beats faster when they walk by." I said

"Your skin tingles when they stand close enough to feel their breath." Magnus said releasing his air on him

"We know you feel what we feel, Alec." I told him

"You don't have any clue what I feel... so back off. this is all just a game to you both, isn't it? Y'all flirt, laugh, use magic, but at the end of the day, what do y'all risk? Even if I did feel something for y'all... Y'all want me to give up my life for you both? I have to do what's right for me. i could lose my family, my career, everything! You both just don't get it." he said looking at us

I grabbed ahold of Magnus hand.

"You have a choice to make. We will not ask again." I said as we teleported away

As soon as we reached my apartment, I broke down. Magnus just held me. sometimes, I feel like I'm the younger one in this relationship. Soon, I get ahold of myself.
