WILDFLOWER

Rowan McCall never needed anybody to save her.

She was raised by her god sent mother, Melissa McCall, that "a real women doesn't need a man to help her pick herself up, she can do that just fine on her own."

Rowan lived by that mantra her whole life. She never asked her teachers for help with her homework, she always managed to figure out how to do them by herself.

Even when she fell off her bike riding with her twin brother, Scott Mccall, and their best friend, Stiles Stilinski, she wouldn't let them help her up.

She got up by herself and pushed through the pain as her knee wound bled. (almost causing Melissa to have a heart attack at the sight.)

Stiles and Scott never questioned her independence, but the 2 boys slowly appreciated the girls maturity and independence especially since she was always there to stick up for them.

The three of them had clicked the moment they had met and everyone could tell you that none of them were seen without the other two closely by their side.

The three of them had a bond no one could possibly understand but no one needed to understand. All they understood was that it was always going to be Rowan, Scott and Stiles.

Melissa sometimes wondered if the girls independence developed because of their deadbeat father, not like Rowan was ever close to her dad but whenever Melissa watched the girl she wondered if her father had stayed, maybe her daughter would be more open to asking people for help.

Rowan knew how to protect herself, she never needed anyone to help her do that. She was incredibly stubborn that way and Stiles and Scott were used to it.

But not Issac Lahey.

Everyone knew the tale of the little red riding hood who had believed a big bad wolf, a stranger, and nearly suffered because of it.

But that's not how the story goes this time.

This time the big bad wolf isn't as bad or big as he seems, and maybe this time the little red leather jacket girl finally finds the right wolf to trust and believe.

Or maybe not.

maybe their fairytale was doomed from the beginning.
