TW: mention of violence, murder, drinking and abandonment!!

Lydia Martin was probably the best party thrower in the whole of Beacon Hills.

Every year on the girl's birthday, Lydia would throw the biggest party of the year. Everyone knew of her party, in middle school everyone hoped desperately to be invited.

When Lydia reached high school it was free for all, everyone who was anyone could come and they always turned out to be absolute bangers.

This brings us back to the present day where the strawberry blonde dragged a reluctant McCall girl into Allison's argent room.

Allison shot the two girls questioning glances, stifling a laugh when she spotted Rowan mouthing: "save me"

Lydia beamed as she held up her bags of clothes she had just bought at the mall with a very tired Rowan.

"Clear your schedule, this could take a while." Lydia grinned. Allison laughed as she got out of her chair and watched with Rowan as Lydia started to take out the outfits she got.

"How many outfits do you plan on wearing tonight?" Allison asked.

"Very good question," Rowan uttered as she looked at all of Lydia's shopping bags.

"It's my birthday party." Lydia deadpanned as if that shouldn't be a question. The girls watched silently as Lydia showed them all the dresses she planned on wearing tonight.

Rowan felt bad, they had been so busy the past few days with the whole Jackson Kanima thing they didn't have a lot of time to spend with Lydia. She wanted today to just be about her.

"This one's material girl; It's for you." Lydia passed Alison a dress and Rowan sighed when Lydia passed her one too.

"Rowan it's my birthday, you have to wear whatever I say." Lydia smiled as Rowan held out the dress. It was a beautiful dark blue dress spotted with small flowers, the dress stopped above her knee, had a v-cut, and had two small spaghetti straps.

She had to hand it to her, Lydia knew how to pick out a dress.

"Whatever you want Lyds." Rowan smiled.

The girls turned at the sound of knocking and Rowan held her breath. She hadn't seen Vitoria Argent since that night. She hadn't told Scott about her wounds either, nor did they tell Allison about what her mother had done to Scott.

It was safe to say the pack was keeping a lot of secrets.

Victoria and Rowan held tense eye contact for a moment as Lydia held out a dress.

"Ms. Argent, what do you think about this one?" Victoria just smiled.

"Oh, it's lovely. Allison, uh can I grab you for a moment to talk?"

Lydia and Rowan busied themselves with the dresses as Allison shot her mother an odd look.

"Can we do it later?" Allison asked, Rowan couldn't help but catch the way Victoria gripped her shoulder slightly.

"To be honest, sooner would be-would be better."

Rowan's heart pounded in her ears. They hadn't told Allison about the bite?  Rowan bit her cheek as Lydia informed the women that the party was at ten.

"Oh will you be around before then?" Victoria asked.

"I don't know." Allison shook her head frustratedly. At that moment, for once in her life, rowan  felt sorry for Vitoria.

Allison was mad at her, but if the bite had worked that meant her mother would turn into a werewolf tonight on a full moon. Rowan and Victoria locked eyes again as the women turned to leave.
