ROWAN HAD BEEN OUT OF IT EVER SINCE THAT NIGHT IN SCHOOL WITH ISSAC

Rowan couldn't believe she revealed something so vulnerable to Issac Lahey, something Scott and Stiles didn't even know about her.

But yet how could she have told Scott and Stiles something like that? That without them Rowan wouldn't know how to hold herself back? That Rowan was capable of much darker things than she would like to admit? Scott and Stiles would never see her the same.

Her brother and best friend were the most morally upright people she knew, if they found out she had the urge to do those dark things they would never speak to her again.

Erica and her had even started seeing less of each other, Rowan had been saying she wanted to take things a little slower but Erica secretly knew it was more than that but understood anyways. But even so, even the sex wasn't giving Rowan the thrill it used to.

So there Rowan sat in homeroom in front of Scott, so lost in her thoughts that Stiles had to call her twice.

"Okay, Rowan? Ro! Hey, earth to Ro!" Stiles yelled as Scott shook his sister. Rowan jumped and turned around with distracted eyes.

"Sorry sorry, what's going on?" Rowan blinked as she looked between the two boys.

"Hey, are you okay?" Scott frowned as he squeezed her shoulder. Rowan just nodded silently.

"Ok anyways, I just talked to my dad who talked to Jackson and I have horrible, terrible, really very bad news," Stiles said.

"I think we know," Rowan muttered as she turned back around and locked eyes with the blonde boy sitting beside her.

Issac Lahey just smirked.

"Alright, I only found one thing online called The Kanima. It's a were-jaguar from South America that goes after murderers." Stiles told the twins as they walked out of the classroom and down the hall.

Stiles was in between the twins as Rowan stood on his right, the girl was wearing a maroon tight v-neck sweater, jeans, and her red leather jacket tied around her waist with some high-heeled combat boots.

"That thing is not a jaguar." Scott and Rowan said in unison, Stiles nodded unfazed by their synchronization anymore at that point.

"Yeah and I and Ro aren't murderers," Stiles added.

"Ok but you did see it try and kill somebody, and it probably wants you dead, and won't stop until you are dead." Scott thought out loud. Rowan sighed as Stiles walked beside her.

"You know I sometimes question this friendship," Stiles muttered as the trio walked into economics class.

Stiles and Scott sat beside each other while Rowan took the seat beside Stiles. They started pulling out their books as Jackson rushed into the seat beside Rowan and looked up at the two boys.

"Hey, testicle left and right."

Rowan stifled a laugh as Scott and Stiles reluctantly lifted their heads.

"What the hell is a Kanima?"

Rowan's face dropped as she turned to face Jackson, the other two boys doing the same with similar expressions. Jackson just looked at them questioningly as Coach Finstsock's voice echoed from the front of the class.

"Alright listen up, quick warning before our review. Some of you, like McCall the boy one, not the girl, might want to form your study groups because tomorrow's mid-term is so profoundly difficult im not even sure I could pass it." Coach smirked and Rowan rolled her eyes,
