I felt the silence dawning upon us,
The darkness I once felt,
The happiness I never did,
The lights that always blind,
The scars that always hid.
And there I saw hope,
Turning away from me,
I went to catch it fast,
But I guess it's something I'll never see.
The world falling to pieces,
I tried to keep it together,
I knew this was my fate,
Life falling apart like feathers,
I knew it was too late.
