2:15 am in the morning,
On second June,
In the age of the eighties,
A rose in a field of mango trees bloomed.

So innocent and delicate,
Always taught to smile for everyone,
Never taught to make fun of someone,
All proper and pure,
Sometimes small and insecure.

She chirped like birds,
Jolly child, happy face, hair so wild, running chase,
Playing with every single person in the room,
No matter how old they were,
She always knew how to blend in like a perfume.

She was a perfect little princess,
Obeying all the rules,
But then why did she suffer from every bad news?
You can blame it all on fate,
But that wouldn't be true,
Would it?

Everyone needs someone,
To understand their beating heart,
To dance in a crowd holding hands,
And that's all she wanted too,
For people to comprehend what she went through.

She needed words and hugs and love,
She deserves better than me,
But I want to try for her all the things she wants to see,
Because she also had dreams,
And I want her to live them through me.

She needs no romeo just someone to listen,
I would turn back time but I can't,
And I just want to get another chance,
To treat her like she deserves.

In life you learn to care and value
The ones you love only when you experience the fear of losing them,
It is heartbreaking but it is the truth,
So I want to give my best and try to value my one and only true gem.

I will learn to treat you right,
But I need you to know that I'm human too,
I will make mistakes but not to hurt you,
'Cause roses may be given,
But the only rose that matters is you.
