Y/n POV
"You better get to bed and be quiet, because if you don't you will know what will happen, do I make myself clear" he said almost yelling. I didn't respond and that pissed him off more. He grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and said "DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME" he said. I didn't respond and he slapped me "I said DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!" he yelled "Yessir" I said, and he let my shirt go and I fell on my bed, and he walked out. Max then came out of my closet and put her hand gently on my face where he slapped me, I flinched, and Max noticed "I'm not going to hurt you" she said in a soft voice
I then leaned into her hand, and she hugged me again and I started to cry again. after a little I spoke up "You should get going home" I said, "Yeah but I don't want to leave you alone here" she said holding me tighter "I'll be ok, Max go home" I said "No I'm going to stay with you till you fall asleep and you can't change my mind" she said "Fine but if my dad walks in and your here, he's going to kill us both" I said getting up. I reached my hand out for her to take and she took it and got up.
We lied down on my bed and Max put her hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around her torso, and I feel asleep soon, I woke up and looked at the time and it was 5 am. It was normal for me to wake up at this time, but Max was asleep under me. I panicked and woke her up "What?" she said in a raspy morning voice "Max, your still at my house you need to leave before my dad wakes up" I said "Shit, sorry Y/n" she said. She got up and jumped out my window. I walked out of my bedroom and into the kitchen and started cooking breakfast for mostly my dad and he woke up and walked into the kitchen
"I thought you were my daughter that I raised and not some slut" He said going into the refrigerator grabbing a beer "What now" I said, "I said I didn't raise a slut for a daughter now did I" he said "What do you mean?" I asked. He walked over to me and slammed me against the wall by my hair "You brought a girl into this house, and you were asleep on her, I didn't reais a slut!" he yelled. He smacked me and threw me to the floor "Don't ever talk to her again, you hear me" he yelled "Yes sir" I said
I finished cooking and gave it to him. He started to complain about how I cooked it wrong and threw his empty beer bottle at me and it shattered. I cleaned it up and I walked out the door and walked to the bathroom and put band-aids on to cover the cuts from the glass. I then left and went to school on my skateboard. I made it to school and saw Max getting out of her brothers' car. I looked at her then to the floor.
Max POV
I got out of Billy's car and saw Y/n riding her skateboard and looking away from me. I wanted to go talk to her, but something told me not to. I head for the school and see Will and the others "Hey guys" I said, "Hey Max" El said "Have you guys seen Y/n" I said "The new girl?" Lucas said, "Yeah who else would I be talking about" I said, "I saw Mr. Clark pull her away from her locker a little bit ago" Mike said "Why?" I asked, "I don't know they were whispering to each other" Mike said finishing
Y/n POV
I was at my locker and the science teacher Mr. Clark wanted to talk to me in his classroom. We walked in and he closed the door and sat at his desk "I wanted to ask you if everything was okay at home?" he said "Why do you think something is wrong" I said, "Well I don't know why but I don't think it's normal for a kid to where band-aids on their face for no reason" he said "No nothing is wrong" I said "Well that's all I wanted to know I'll see you in class Y/n" he said
I got up and walked out the classroom and into the bathroom. I walked into one of the stalls and someone else walked in "Y/n" Max's voice echoed in the small room "Y/n I know you're in here" she said. I opened the stall door and faced her "What happened?" she asked, "My dad saw us last night" I said with no emotion "Y/n I am so sorry" she said, "Don't be it's not your fault" I said "No I should have left sooner" she said hugging me. I hugged her back and she spoke up "I should have said this sooner, but I wanted to stay because I think you're really pretty and I think I like you" she said
"Really?" I said "Yeah sorry if I made this weird" she said pulling away from the hug and she went to leave but I grabbed her hand and pulled her and kissed her. She kissed me back and put her arms around my neck and I grabbed her waist. I we pulled away for air and looked into each other's eyes "I really like you too" I said, "Would you like to be my girlfriend?" she said "Yeah I would like that" I said
