The Three Blessed Kings

Chapter 13: Our hero's notes

The kingdom of Ligen:
The only one,
Inside the human realm.

With a monarchy,
The kingdom was split,
Into three cutoff sections.

The first was Dowel.
The poorest of the three;
With the most citizens.

Often called 'the slums',
It's where I grew up,
And eventually left.

Next up was Borhn.
Inside was the middle class,
With broad occupations.

The guild was in Borhn,
But still close to Dowel.
(That's how I made it there.)

Borhn had the most area,
And was second in head count.
Very clean.

Ligen had two guilds,
On opposite sides of Borhn,
And they were rivals.

The guilds only served,
Borhn and Dowel,
But not the final of the three.

Lastly was Nyraun.
It was the city of nobles;
A golden town.

The castle was its center,
And only royalty,
Could enter through.

Second in area,
But only a few hundred,
Got to live there.

Nyraun didn't need the guilds,
Because of their knights,
And royal mages.

Our king had no family,
And was said to be,
As old as the realm.

He instituted the classes,
And was titled as:
The only true king.

Though quite twisted,
He kept our lands safe,
And rightly deserved his title.

His name is King Vincent.
And his magic,
Is rumored to be blessed.

I should also mention,
What the title "King" means,
In this magic world.

Born with unique magic,
Limitless mana,
And non rotting skin.

Those are just some perks,
Of a baby born,
To the title of a king.

But only three at a time,
Could get heaven's gift,
And a special job.

These were the "Blessed Kings",
And when one died,
Another would take its place.

They were all powerful,
But with one drawback:
They could not kill others.

Our king was said to be one,
But I do doubt this,
For he's made blood spill.

With that said,
Out there somewhere,
Are three souls who could end all the world's wars.

Only when united,
Can these three blessed kings,
Pass on true judgement.

But they are a mystery,
And haven't shown face,
In one thousand years.

Though it's pure luck,
There was one skillful way,
Anyone could be called "king".

If you could kill five born kings,
It is rumored,
That you get their powers.

Though it's never been done,
(At least recorded),
It's not 'impossible'.

But even if it was,
If it would end these casts,
I would find a way.
