Derek Hale, born werewolf, newly turned Alpha after killing his uncle, who he strongly disliked.

He just completed putting his pack together, consisting of 3 Betas; Isaac Lahey, Erica Reyes and Vernon Boyd.

He hopes to convince stubborn Omega, Scott McCall to join, but the boy seems adamant to stay out of it, he's in fact against the idea of Derek creating a pack in the first place.

Derek has assured Scott that he gave them a choice and they're the ones that agreed to the bite, but Scott still hates the idea of turning people into werewolves, especially now a big shot werewolf hunter has declared war on all werewolves.

Derek thinks this is the perfect reason to build a pack, to gain strength and numbers against an army.

Right now, Derek is checking out a recently occupied house.

He heard an unknown individual had just moved to Beacon Hills and wanted to keep an eye on them.

Someone moves to Beacon Hills right as Derek builds a pack and hunters declare war?

Yeah, like he's not gonna be suspicious of that coincidence.

He hasn't seen the new occupant, but one morning when he finally got the chance, he's stunned to see a gorgeous young woman with blonde hair, ocean blue eyes and tanned skin and a body every girl would die for.

Derek watches, stunned and awestruck as she carries a box out of the house and places it on the pathway of the front yard, before going back inside and reappearing again a minute later with another box, seemingly heavy as she's struggling.

Derek thought about going to help her, but wasn't sure how to approach.

However, as she was stepping down her porch, she trips and starts to fall.

Derek reacts faster than he ever has in his life, running out of the trees, jumping over her fence and racing across the yard, hoping to catch her before she gets hurt.

And to his luck and her shock, he caught her in his big, muscular arms, unfortunately letting the box she was carrying drop to the ground.

The young woman, breathed heavily from shock at what just happened as her hero set her back on her feet.

She turned around to face the mysterious figure and to her surprise she saw an extremely handsome young man with black hair, piercing yet breathtaking green eyes, facial hair, fair skin and dark, bad-boy like clothes that screamed dangerous.

He looked at her, concerned.
"Are you alright?" He asked her.

She stayed silent, too speechless to utter a word as her mouth was slightly ajar.
"Miss? Are you hurt?" He asked again, hoping for some kind of answer.
"Oh! Uh... No. No, I'm ok, just a little... rattled" She finally answered, giving a small, slightly embarrassed smile.

He gave her a returning smile.
"I'm Derek" He introduced himself.
"Bella" She introduces, feeling more relaxed.
"Australian?" He asks her.
"I'm sorry?" She frowns in confusion.
"Your accent. Is it Australian?" Derek clarifies.
"Oh! Oh. Yes, I just moved from The Gold Coast" She says, smiling enthusiastically.
"What made you wanna move here?" He asks, genuinely curious.
"Just wanted a change of scenery. I'm used to sunny beaches and crowded areas, so I wanted to experience a small, quiet town" Bella replies.

Derek almost scoffed when she thought about Beacon Hills being a quiet town, but held it in and just nodded.
"Well, I hope you plan to stay" He says, giving her a charming smile.
"I like what I see so far" She tells him, giving him a cheeky smile and turns around, going back inside her house.

Derek was internally stunned by her boldness and shamelessly let his eyes wander down to her ass as she walked away.

He also liked the way she smelled.

The sweet smell of mango and apricot from her hair, indicating her favourite shampoo, the flowery smell of her perfume, but underneath all the perfect smells was the scent of seawater.

He assumed it was because she's from Australia, surrounded by beaches, but it's like it was part of her and he wasn't sure how.

He chuckled to himself and left her property, going back to his secret hideout.

He was going to like the town's newest addition.
