Hey loves!

Considering that this book has been ongoing for almost two months and I just completed it, there's some things that you might have missed. So, I'm making this chapter just to go over all the details, hints, foreshadowing and easter eggs!

The Title
Fatal Pursuit. Pursuit because she's being pursued by multiple men (and possibly others) and Fatal because Nacho died...or did he? Honestly the name was going to just be a placeholder until I figured out something better but it started to pick up traction and then I couldn't change it anymore lmao.

Chapter Names
You've probably noticed that the language of the chapter names changed throughout the story. This was purposely done to reflect Infinity's main romantic interest.

In the beginning, the names were in Spanish because Infinity was starting her adventures in Spain. Then it stayed Spanish because she met Nacho. Then they changed to Italian for a while after Nacho disappeared and she got with Dante. Then, in the scene where Nacho comes back and the threesome, they're split between Spanish and Italian. Then after Nacho dies and Dante leaves, they're in English. Both because she's alone and also because she's supposedly back with Xavi.

The Butterflies
This was a tiny part of the story but from the very beginning Infinity described how when she was with either Nacho or Dante she would feel different kinds of butterflies because both of the boys made her feel different kinds of emotions. But, when Nacho died and Dante and her split up, she says that the butterflies died and turned into locusts of despair and self-loathing which represents her mental and romantic state.

Dante
When Infinity came back from her hair appointment, she walked inside and saw a smiling stranger, Dante, sitting at the kitchen counter and he also flirted a bit with her.

This was a little foreshadowing because they met for the first time in the kitchen and then their first time was in that same kitchen.
Of course I didn't expect anyone to notice this but yeah.

Moving on, I know everyone was like uh-uh something wrong with him because of the way she was describing how perfect he was but some of you noticed that he did indeed have red flags, they were small but they were there.

But since it's from the POV of someone who got their heart broken and was cheated on and Nacho "flaked", Dante seems 1000% better in comparison. Regardless of if he was or not, it was just Infinity's perspective so you gotta take it with a grain of salt. I mean that man got with Infinity literally the same day that G left and he was just immediately all in. Didn't shed a tear or nothing lmao.

Dante's Breakup Letter

Probably the saddest thing I've ever written but anyway, we know that Dante is an engineer who also dabbles in architecture/interior design and he's also from Milan, Italy.

The stationary that he uses to write the letter has the insignia of Politecnico di Milano (University of Milan Polytechnic) which is a university for engineering, architecture and design. That is a real university and that's their real logo but that is not a real stationary that they have that's why it look like shit lmao.

Also there's some words he crossed out because he was writing in pen and English is like his zillionth language so of course he made a few mistakes here and there and he also gushed a little too much (because it's Dante, of course he did) but crossed it out because he wanted to keep it on a lighter note. You may be able to zoom in a bit and see what it says underneath the scribbles. (Chapter trentatre)

Also he signed it 'Dante Fucking Castellini :)' because as we know, Dante is a goofball and always tries to lighten the mood.

Xavi
By the way, when Infinity is talking about how perfect Dante is, she uses her ex, Xavi, in contrast to him. This was the first ever foreshadowing that he would make an appearance.

The second time was when Infinity was doing research about the gang, you see a notification in the corner of someone trying to add her on a social media platform I made up called Blabbr (chapter veinticinque/veinticinco)
This is also a platform that is used in my other book Professor, Professor.
(Btw that book is about a law school professor, not a high school teacher. I would never write a grooming story, ew. But yeah you should check it out if you haven't because I promise you it's gonna be like nothing you ever read before.)

Oh yeah, I'm gonna mention this because I thought it was funny and I want everyone to laugh. So, when Xavi and Dante first meet, Xavi calls him the leaning tower of Pisa. Get it, because he's tall and Italian... why the fuck you ain't laughing? 🤨

The thing about the phone

When Nacho puts the correct number in Infinity's phone, he tells her that she should have a password on it, which she brushes off.

Fast-forward to when G the goblin returns, G got Xavi's number because she went through Infinity's phone for his number.

Why the package had a purse and a bottle of whisky

It all started on Infinity's first night in Spain at the club.

She leaves the bar to text her at the time bestfriend Genevieve the racist. Originally G wasn't supposed to be racist, just a jealous friend, but it was funny as fuck to me so I decided to toss it in lmaooo. If you're black you get it.

But anyway, she's texting G because she's all alone in a foreign country in which she doesn't speak the language but of course, G the hoe is out flirting it up with some Italian guy who we later find out is Dante.

So, while texting, she bumps into this fine but rude man who ends up being Ignacio.

Although G sucks, if it wasn't for her, Infinity would've never met either of them. Which, it's up to you if that's a good thing or not.

Anyway, she's swept off her feet by Ignacio who is at the bar drinking whisky and that also ends up being their safe word when they go to the bioluminescent cave together. He also gives her the nickname clumsy girl or patosa in Spanish.

Fast-forward to the end of the story when Infinity receives her intimates in a bottle of whisky alongside a note that says did you miss me, clumsy girl.

Now as for the purse part. Back when Nacho reappeared in the shower scene, he told her that he had been working with Isaac, money laundering and drug dealing and shipping the product off in purses.

So yeah, everything comes back and loops around...get it, because her name's Infinity. Ha ha ha...laugh! 😡

Anyway, there's more but I can't share them because it will ruin the next book but I just wanted you guys to see the thought put into it and also have some insight so you could get a better understanding.
