"Do you know about the legend of the bell?" Nino said.

Here we go.

"The what now?" Fuutarou said.

"I'm sure you've seen that bell overlooking the landscape near the inn, right? It's called the Bell of Vows, and legend says that the couple who rings it while kissing will get married in the future."

Nino said all of that while maintaining strict eye contact with me.

"Cool lore," I said.

"That's all you have to say about that?!"

"What am I supposed to say? 'Oh, I hope I get to ring the b-b-b-b-bell of vows with my g-g-g-g-girlfriend uwu'"

"Stop mocking me, dumbass! It's supposed to be romantic!"

"Is every single trip going to have one of those ritualistic love things?" Fuutarou said.

"You're only complaining cuz you're single," Nino said.

"It's not that! It's just that dating feels like the only thing people our age seem to talk about. I mean, don't you get tired?"

"Don't you get tired from studying all the time?"

"That's not a fair comparison."

"Why not? It's something you do all the time, and you never seem tired of it."

"Y/N, back me up here."

"Why?"

"Who's side are you on?!"

"On whichever comes up with the best idea for having fun, which so far is neither of you," I said, "That's not to say I'm not on board with the bell. I absolutely am. But that's something only the two of us are going to 'enjoy' per se. The objective here is to find something we all can have fun doing at the same time. "

"Well, do you have any suggestions?" Itsuki said.

"No, which is precisely why I supposedly have five other heads trying to come up with something."

"Miku brought her Switch," Yotsuba said, "But Ichika and Itsuki don't like videogames right? Uuuuh... this is harder than I thought it would be."

"It doesn't strictly have to be something we all have to enjoy. Logistically speaking, it's even better if we don't stick together all that much because of our dad," Itsuki said.

"I know a place where that won't be a problem," Nino said winking at me.

"Oh, I know! Why don't we all go hit the hot spring?" Yotsuba said.

"Oh, the innocence," I said.

"Yotsuba that's a great idea!" Nino said, "Speaking of which, I think it's time someone switched with Miku to keep dad company. Why don't you go, Itsuki?"

"Why me? If we're going by order, Yotsuba should be the one to go now."

"I can go, no biggie," Yotsuba said.

"Yeah, but she's the one who suggested the hot spring in the first place. Besides, you don't even like them, do you?"

"Who the hell doesn't like hot springs?" Yotsuba said.

"I know why you don't want me to go, Nino," Itsuki said with a serious look on her face, "You won't have to worry about me. I promise."

"Huh? Why?" Yotsuba asked.
