𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐲-𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞; 𝐎𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐔𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐀 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦

Change of tense.

As soon as I open my eyes, I am greeted by the sound of the alarm that I had previously set.

 

I find myself here, staring at the ceiling all by myself.

Alone,

 

Yet again.

My chest continues to tighten up even though I've tried to calm it.

And now, at long last, I can finally shed a tear.

As I look at the date on my phone and continue to glance at it, I come to the realization that all that occurred was simply a dream.

The emotions that I desired but could only experience in my dreams.

I knew it.

Who in the world would believe that 11:11 myth?

Well, I did believe it...

But really, I'm just blinded by my raging desire of feeling the emotions I want to feel.

I'm so desperate and hopeless that it is getting ridiculous at this point.

I believe that my life is merely playing with my emotions and getting me to dream about them.

But in all honesty... even so, it's just a dream.

 

I was able to experience that sensation for the first time.
