"Mr. Johnson? It's Detective Rollins, we found your wife." He said.
"Thank God. Is she ok?" Dwayne asked.
"Yes and no." Rollins said.
"What the fuck do you mean yes and no?!!!" Dwayne snapped.
"Please.....just meet me at the emergency department of Ascension Sacred Hospital and I'll explain everything." He said.
"Ok....Joe and I are on the way." Dwayne said.
After Dwayne hung up, he turned to Joe.....
"Jasmine's in the hospital." He said.
Just then, Joe's face turned red, his nostrils started flaring and he began shaking.....
"Somebody's gonna fucking die!!!!" Joe growled through clenched teeth. *************End Flashback************** Dwayne and Joe were on their way to the hospital, and as they were traveling, each man had their own personal reflection......
Dwayne's POV
I can't believe it, I think I'm in a bad dream and I can't wake up from the shit. Jasmine is in the hospital because she's probably hurt. I'm feeling so many emotions right now, I can't think straight. I'm worried, scared and pissed off all at the same time. But I know I got to keep it together, not just for Jasmine, but for myself and especially Joe. I mean, he has the look in his eyes so evil that it would scare the devil himself. He has a look of wanting to murder any and everyone who stands in his way. Hell, I would put it past him to slit my throat if I were to stop him, not that I would because I want to murder the asshole who took my wife too. I just pray that she's OK and the babies are too.
Joe's POV
Man....all I know is if one single hair was harmed on my baby girl's head, blood is gonna be spilled. There is gonna be a bloodbath on the streets of Pensacola, Florida, and I mean that from the very bottom of my heart. Dwayne is trying to keep me calm, but the only thing that will calm my spirit is knowing that my wife and baby are OK and healthy, and she is only at the emergency room to be evaluated.
As Dwayne and Joe pull up to the emergency room, they look at each other with silent understanding that they were both anxious about Jasmine's well-being. Feeling Joe getting tense, Dwayne spoke up.....
"Joe...whatever you do...please remain calm." Dwayne warned.
