Chapter 8

" What happened?" Virat opened the door, hurriedly by hearing her scream.

" COCKROACH!!!", Sai jumped on the bed in fear of the tiny creature.

Virat slapped his forehead, he thought something happened to her.

" Kaha hai?" He asked slowly. Sai pointed towards floor. Raj laughed and picked up the tiny cockroach and showed her to scare her.

She looked at Virat and he scolded his friend. Raj threw that out of the window and Sai sighed while sitting on the bed.

" kya tum bhi Sai? Mujhe laga tumhe kuch ho gaya.." Virat expressed his worry while sitting beside her and Sai stared at him in confusion, " Muze kyu kuch hoga?"

" How are you feeling now?" Virat asked as she didn't even utter Vishal's name.

" Fine, pr mujhe kuch hua tha kya? Tum aise sawaal kyu puch rahe ho?" Sai asked and looked at him who stared at his friend and looked back at her.

" Aur haa, Vishal kaha hai?" Sai asked while getting up from there.

Virat went near Raj while Sai went out in search of Vishal.

" I want to know, will she see him or not.." Raj mumbled in Virat's ear.

They walked behind her and Sai sighed when she found Vishal in hall sitting on couch.

" Here you're.." She smiled and sat beside him.

" Aur kaha jaunga, laut ke tumhare paas hi toh aana hai.." Vishal chuckled..

Virat looked at her with worried sight. " She still imagine him." Raj gulped, it looks so horrible to see a person talking with noone.

" Where were you?" Sai frowned.

" Don't you remember, I have told I won't leave you until you want.." Vishal smiled at her.

Raj kept hand on Virat's shoulder as he saw how it was hurting him to saw her in this state.

" Have you noticed something?" Raj asked.

Virat turned his head at him and nodded negatively.

" Tum jitna uske sath rehta ho, utna woh Vishal ko khud se dur karti hai.." Raj told him.

" Do you really think that?" Virat asked while Raj nodded.

" Mujhe toh lagta hai, main jitna uske paas jaata hu woh utna mujhe khud se door karti hai, kyuki use toh yahi lagta hai na she and Vishal are dating.." Virat mumbled slightly annoyed.

" Bro, Are you jealous?" Raj tried not to laugh.

" No way!" Virat mouthed while looking forward at Sai who was moving her hand through air, what is she doing.

Sai moved her hand through Vishal's hair and held them in her fist, " kitne baal badhaye hai, I can make ponytail of it! " Sai laughed and Vishal faked glare. She laughed while keeping palm on mouth..

Virat hit his forehead dramatically on Raj's shoulder. " Why I'm not beside her, bro?" Virat whispered and Raj laughed while saying, " Relax bro, even you aren't there, there's no one there. Khamakha pareshan ho rahe ho."

" Lekin use toh lagta hai na ki waha Vishal hai. " Virat mumbled cutely.

" But uske lagne se kya hota hai? Sun meri baat, use yeh ehsaas dilane ki koshish kar ki tu usse pyar karta hai?" Raj said.

" Pr mere karne se kya hoga, she already loves him." Virat complaint while folding the sleeves of his shirt across the elbow.

" Arey, toh main thodi propose karne ko keh raha hu..Use propose na karke, use yeh samajhne pr majboor kar, use yeh sochne pr majboor kar ki tu usse pyar karta hai! And mark my words, tu jitna uske paas jayega na utna Vishal dur" Raj stated and Virat thought about it.

" And what if her state become worse than now.." Virat asked.

" Nahi hogi yarr, agar woh Vishal ko bhul gayi ya usse door ho gayi, uske mental health ke liye woh accha hai.." His friend told.

Virat seemed thinking, he didn't want to take risk with her health, he was somewhere agreed but wasn't sure.

" Okay, think about it. And don't worry about treatment, send me medicines, I will bring. " Raj hugged him and patted on his back.

" Thanks!", Virat smiled at him. " Tere liye kuch bhi." His friend mumbled filmy line and Virat chuckled.

Virat walked near Sai and she looked at him, " Tumhara friend ja raha hai?" She asked while looking at Raj who walked out.

" Haan! Use kaam hai zaroori!" Virat told and she nodded.

" I'm telling you, this Virat is villain in our lovestory." Vishal told her and she slapped his arm for calling her bff villain.

" Let's go, I'll show you our room" Virat said and her and Vishal's eyes went wide. Virat corrected his statement, " I mean my room.."

Sai smiled and nodded awkwardly. She looked at Vishal whose expression screamed, 'NO'

" Please Vishu.." Sai mumbled he shook his head in NO

" Tum bhi chalo." Sai said and Virat glared the empty seat beside her.

" Nahi, I'm not coming.." he folded his arms and stared away angrily.

" Wait for me, I'm coming.." Sai whispered and stood up.

Virat smiled at her and they walked towards stairs.

" I'm telling you, This Virat is dangerous.." Sai turned her head at Vishal who seemed angry. Her leg slipped from stair and she closed her eyes in fear that she might be end up falling.

" Careful Sai!" She opened her eyes and looked at Virat whose one hand had snaked around her waist. And other one held her arm. He saved her from falling down.

" Thik ho?" He asked and she managed to nod hesitantly.

He smiled lightly and she looked here and there unable to understand what's happening to her by his touch, Virat saw her getting uncomfortable suddenly and realised his hand was still holding her. He withdrew his hand and said by holding her hand, " Chalo"

They walked upstairs and Sai kept looking at him until they came in front of his room. He looked at her and she seemed to be lost. Virat's heart fluttered in happiness as he saw her lost in staring him.

He smiled sweetly and she turned her sight away as she didn't realise she was staring at him continuously.

" Please come in!" Virat smiled and she walked in his room.

She was looking around and Virat's sight fell on that book which was on bed. His heart stopped working, he saw Sai walking there.

" Sai!!" He ran towards her and she turned. He quickly hugged her, making her only shocked. He did that to divert her attention from going there.
