Sasuke's nightmare

"MENMA!"

A scream in the night awoke Naruto from his deem slumber. He shot out of bed with a kunai in hand, head turning left and right in search of the threat.

Then his eyes settled on his panting husband. "Sasuke what's-" he was cut off when his husband jumped out of bed and ran out of the room, worried he chased after his husband. "Sasuke! What's wrong?" He asks worriedly. The Raven haired man ignored him

He stopped in front of the nursery where their baby was in. Sasuke, without much thought, literally kicks down the door, startling the black haired baby

"What the hell Sasuke?" Naruto snapped. Wordlessly Sasuke approached the crib and picked up the crying baby, muttering to himself "my baby... My baby... His name is Menma.. Yeah that's right it's Menma"

"Sasuke?" He cautiously approached his shaking husband

Cupping the black haired man's face he gently tilted his head upwards. He gasped when he saw tears in Sasuke's eyes, his pupils shaking. "Naruto... We're married right? This is our baby right? W-we're together aren't we? You're not married to Hinata and I'm not stuck with Sakura?"

"I--what?"

"Answer me!" Sasuke angrily yells, followed by a sob. Naruto bit his lip, before wiping away Sasuke's tear. "No of course not, last time I checked I'm the love of your life" he grins. Sasuke chuckled

"Yeah.... Thank goodness.. "

He hugged Menma tighter. The crying baby had calmed down after being held and rocked back and forth by his daddy. "What happened?"

"Had a nightmare" Sasuke admitted. "Would you like to.. Talk about it?" Naruto gently offered.

"It was awful!" The other man claimed. "You and I ended up with different people! I'm okay with you ending up with Hinata-- b-but I was stuck with Sakura!" The black haired man shuddered. "Fortunately for me, I was barely around the house"

"Uh huh" Naruto raised a brow. "And?" He reached to take Menma but Sasuke slapped his hand away. "Owe! The hell?"

"But everytime I'm home, I have to deal with her off key singing, and seeing her everywhere I turn! It was a fucking nightmare! But it gets worse"

"It does?"

"We had kids with weird hair! Your son looked like a knock off version of you except he was really unlikeable, and my daughter with Sakura--" Sasuke looked close to gagging "I don't even wanna talk about-" he clamped a hand to his mouth as if to prevent himself from throwing up

Naruto rubbed his back

"She was named Sarada, what kind of name was that? She was named after a salad!" He frowned. "And she wore glasses that makes her look like Karin! "

Their baby made gurgled sounds as if to agree. Naruto bit his lower lip, but eventually

He bursted out laughing "HAHAHAHAHA!" he threw his head back and laughed so loudly it woke up Menma again. The baby started crying once more

Sasuke growled. "Idiot! Look what you did" he gestured at their son

"Hahahaha! S-sorry I just--Hahahaha! You're dream was-"

"Nightmare" Sasuke corrected

"Right, sorry nightmare is hilarious!" He placed his head against Sasuke's shoulder, trying to calm himself down.

"It's not funny dobe!" Sasuke scowled.

"Ehh... It's a little funny" Naruto snorted.

It took a while but, eventually he got Sasuke and Menma to calm down. Menma was sleeping soundly in his crib, and Sasuke fell asleep with his head on Naruto's lap. They decided to spend the night in the nursery instead

"Don't worry Sasuke, that was just a nightmare" Naruto promised, running his fingers through Sasuke's silken locks. "We're married, we have a beautiful baby boy and.. " he placed a hand on his stomach. "We're getting another one"
