Two weeks. Two weeks of misery and depression. After the whole two weeks of sulking and self-blaming, Barry decided it is enough. He finally managed to get out of bed today and get his life back to the right track. Even though he couldn't help but feel like a rebound —that too a very long one, he still decided to make the most of the day.

It was late noon, home alone Barry decided to work on his recent cases. In a matter of seconds, his room was covered with clothing, papers and random flies.

"Come on, where is that stupid file?!" He groaned in frustration as he threw another piece of cloth as he messed up his closet.

Realizing where it was, he pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed loudly. "I gave it to Caitlin." Groaning again, he dragged his feet to the bathroom so he could get ready and get the file.

Barry frowned as he stood in front of Caitlin's apartment. Loud music blasted from the apartment. In seconds, he was able to hear it fade and the footsteps increased. The doorknob rotated and she appeared in front of him. There she stood. Dr. Caitlin Snow, covered with flour as she began to tie her hair into a messy bun.

"Barry, hi." She greeted surprisingly.

"H-Hi." Barry frowned.

"Come in." She stepped aside, giving him space to come in.

"I came here to grab the case file that I gave you but it looks like something exploded in here." He explained, as his eyes moved around the apartment, specifically looking at the messy kitchen.  "Did you volunteer for a high school bake sale?" He joked, facing back to her.

"Very funny." She plainly shut him off while walking to the bookshelf to get his file. "I am making the cake for Joe's surprise party tonight." She clarified.

Caitlin gladly watched the colour drain from his face. "The party that you completely forgot about." She added with her smirk.

"The party was a surprise for me." He scoffed, cursing himself for forgetting Joe's birthday...again.

Caitlin smiled watching him beat himself up. "Relax." She ordered and walked to the shelf next to the TV. Picking up a neatly gift wrapped box, she walked over to Barry and handed it to him. "Here you go."

A baffled Barry looked at her with his jaw dropped. "H-How did you-" He questioned.

"You mean how did I know to get a gift for Joe that was from you? Maybe since the fact that you have been forgetting his birthday for the past six years and I have bought the gift for you every single time." She cockily stated.

"Fine Miss-I-remember-it all. Why didn't you just remind me of Joe's party?" He asked, moving his body as it follows her to the kitchen.

"You would be reminded if you ever check your phone." She remarked while she took the cupcakes out of the oven.

"You have an answer for everything today, don't you Dr. Snow?" He leaned over the counter with a lingering smirk on his face.

"I guess I do, Mr. Allen." Caitlin followed his tone and leaned closer over the counter, mimicking his smirk.

"Okay, in all seriousness, I need to look over the file." Barry stood straight and opened the file, rapidly scanning it.

He slightly jerked when he felt Caitlin beside him bringing him out of his thoughts. "Got what you need?" She innocently asked.

"Yeah, I-" The words refused to come out of his mouth.

There was almost no gap between them as Caitlin bit into a bright red strawberry. Though it was a normal human behaviour, Barry gulped loudly as her actions felt so seductive. Her teeth dug deep into the fruit and in a matter of seconds, it was ripped into halves. No matter how hard he tried, his eyes focused on her every movement in slow motion. To top it all off, he witnessed a drop of juice dripping down the corner of her lips. His body itched to lick it off her but he held her ground as he watched her tongue do it for him.
