(Chapter 6)

"Justin what happened?" I asked, still staring at his blood covered hands. "Justin, look at me. What happened?"

"It was...it was something stupid. I just got into a fight outside of McIntyre's with this... I broke this guy's nose, I think. Right?" Justin stuttered. I looked at his hands, but there wasn't a bruise or a cut that indicates that he fought someone.

"What'd you hit him with?" I questioned.

"What?"

"Your knuckles aren't bruised or.."I stated.

"I just...I cracked him with.. I got him with an elbow real good." Justin said.

"Justin, what's going on?" I inquired.

"Hey,listen, I shouldn't have come here. It was a mistake." Justin rambled, while going towards the door. "It's just like I said, I'm sorry."

"No, come on." I said,as I tried to stop him.

"I shouldn't have brought you in on this, okay? I don't even know what I was thinking."

"Justin!" I yelled after him but he slamed my door shut. I took a deep breath, and ran my fingers through my hair. What the hell just happened?

"Hey, anybody seen Voight?" I asked Jay and Adam when I walked into the garage in the district. They pointed to their left with their index fingers, just as Hank walked out of a room.

"What is it?" Voight asked.

"We got a problem." I let out. "Justin showed up at my apartment last night, blood on his hands. He said he got into a bar fight, but I don't know."

"Where is he now?" Hank questioned.

"He took off." I replied. Hank walked away.

"All right, we got a new case. This is Frank Fitori, caught napping in a ditch by the marsh where he was dumped." Voight started when all of us walked up to the unit. "He's had his own little racket on the South Side for years."

"He swims with a lot of big fish." Antonio said.

"Swam." Jay corrected.

"Swam." Dawson said, looking back at Halstead. "Well.." Jay trailed off pointing to the picture of the dead guy on the whiteboard.

"All right, Halstead and I will check out the murder site." I said, as I grabbed my coat.

"Great idea. Why don't you and Jay do that?" Hank said, looking at Jay who furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "Everyone else, go through the confidential files on Taylor Street, Bridgeport, Chinatown, and Melrose crews."
