After Loona headed back to the dorms, she grabbed a bottle of whiskey from the fridge and sat down and watches some TV and noticed about the news that the President Laura signed a law to preserve humans and let them live into the anthro society and the truth about Red Claw was exposed into the public that there many protesters that support humans since they learned what happened to them. The anthro government approved construction on building a gated complex for humans to live at while they recover until they get back on their feet to coexist into the anthro cities. However, 23 percent of anthros didn't like the idea of humans being in their cities over what they had done in the past before the war started.
She turned off the TV as Nika came in after doing her exercising at the gym.
"Hey Nika, how was your time at the gym?" Loona asked.
"Oh, it was great. I won a few fighting bets as I challenged some of my friends there. What about you?" Nika asked.
"Eh, just went to check on the cute runt in the medical wing and still hadn't woken up yet and did some ammo inventory and now just watching TV. I heard that the humans that we saved are going to be sent to the cites to coexist with our race." Loona explains.
"At least there is a little harmony on it from the start, eventually it will create a bond between us and humans." Nika says.
"I hope so." Loona says as she looked down.
"Something bothering you?" Nika asked as she sat next to her.
"Guess."
"It's that douchebag Scott, isn't it?" Nika asked.
"He tried to hit on me again, but he pissed me off by talking trash about Stan." Loona explains.
"Don't listen to him Loona. He's not the right one for you."
"He won't stop Nika. Every time I walk out of this dorm, Scott and his friends bother me 24/7. He kept asking me to go out with him and I don't have interest in him."
"You want to help you make him understand?" Nika asked.
"No, its okay. I can handle it." Loona says as she finished drinking and headed to her room.
Nika sighed and laid on the couch and naps for a bit.
Back at the medical wing, I moaned a bit as I started to wake up. There was a bright light as my eyes tried to adjust and found out I was in a hospital bed and covered in a few bandages. I noticed my left arm was healed already.
"Oh... my head..." I said as I tried to sit up and I heard Dr. Kimberly coming and she smiled that I was awake.
"Finally, you are awake. The alpha team was hoping you would open your eyes eventually."
"How long was I out?" I asked.
"Two days after your mission."
"Oh. Can I head back to my dorm?" I asked.
"Not yet, I'm going to ask Dasha first to see if she is fine with it. Just wait here." Kimberly says as she left the room for a minute.
I waited for a couple of minutes, but I noticed my PTSD was acting up since I didn't take my medication yet, but I tried to control it myself but its not easy now since I now remember Commander Hilton got away before I went unconscious, but he will get what's coming to him and so will General Floyd.
I heard fast footsteps and I see Dasha smiling when she sees me awake.
"How are you feeling?" She asked.
