"Asked you out?" he repeats, with some bitterness. "So you're dating now?"

"Yes," I confirm the evident reality, and he does not show any happiness or enthusiasm. I expected it. "And what did you do? Did he kiss you? How did he do it?"

"At first he was just kidding and playing, but he kissed me and asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend," I smile at the memories of earlier, still feeling all the butterflies and rush of emotions through me. "'Cause he was, like, he was getting ready to ask something serious, so I was kinda nervous, but then he only asked me if I wanted to be best friends, so I was disappointed but understood he was just annoying me and doing it on purpose, but he kissed me again, and I asked if he often does this with his best friend..." I explain what happened, the excitement of that moment never coming to an end in my head. "...But he was not stopping, so I pretended to be offended and walked away, but he stopped me and asked me at that moment."

"That's great," he does not show what his words mean, and I chuckle at him. "Does not seem like that."

"Well, you know how I feel about it, so I can't be excited about it. I'm just worried, but I'm glad to see you happy," he does not change the habit, and I understand since I am used to it. "I just hope he knows he's gonna die if he hurts you, but he's been warned already, so I guess he thoroughly thought about this."

I scoff and shake my head. He is so unbelievable, but the worst about this is that he means his words. Not the killing part, he does not mean it literally, but still.

I send the text to Joonha after taking a shower since he asked me to warn him once I would be home this morning. I sit down on my desk chair to turn my computer on, and Joonha already answers me.
